Please stop eroding Women’s Rights

Gender isn't real, it's a form of oppression. One cannot have an innate sense of something that simply does not exist outside of the collective imagination. Sex is real, and is observed (albeit sometimes incorrectly due to medical conditions) not picked out of a hat. To suggest otherwise undoes the progress of the last 30 years for homosexual people and women.

Trans rights are important, however Women's rights are too. You cannot dismiss concerns as transphobic without respectable debate, something that is sadly lacking thus far. Its time to talk to each other

Everyone has the right to live free from abuse and discrimination. However it is very important that where there are safeguarding concerns, single sex spaces are upheld. Many people feel uncomfortable sharing these spaces with people of the opposite sex, and want to see spaces seperated by biological sex and not an innate sense of gender. These beliefs should not be seen as transphobic. People should also have the right to think gender is a social construct and that is also not transphobic. Options to create mixed sex fascilities with adequete privacy for all should be explored so that women do not have to loose their rights to single sex spaces and also trans men do not have to put themselves at risk by entering males spaces, or continue using womens fascilities which goes against their sense of gender identity.

It is not "hate speech" or "transphobia" to sincerely believe that it is medically and scientifically impossible to change one's sex.

Your current policies are anti-woman and anti-homosexual. Your myopic vision is undermining the very people Stonewall was founded to protect.

women who are forced to believe this ideology are angry and this cannot be good for anyone. Stigma towards the trans community will undoubtedly rise as a result. I want women only spaces

Current policy is divisive and harming transexual people.

It's outrageous that Stonewall dismiss the valid concerns of lesbians. Ruth Hunt - Self-Id is not "just admin". It has serious consequences for all women and girls, especially lesbians. Stop dicking around with lesbians!

I have no issue with people identifying as whatever they want. I just want a discussion on how it affects women’s hard won rights without concerned women being labelled terfs and bigots

I speak as a hetero man. Restricting the right to speak out against a certain kind of behaviour is to deny freedom of speech.

Stonewall seem to be rather bigoted

The current direction harms our precious baby dykes. Their epidemic suicides and blood is on your hands for ever allowing questioning baby lesbians to be told they are in the wrong body to choose to have sex with other women. What was once safe lgb space is toxic to those who would have grown up to be happy healthy lesbians.

I'm signing because Stonewall's definition of transphobia amounts to an attempt to shut down debate and deny people's freedom of conscience. It should be possible to be a "gender atheist" without anyone accusing you of hate crime. I don't believe in God, but that doesn't make me bigoted towards religious people.

A young female relative was raped. She started loathing her body and instead of being offered trauma counselling/therapy, she is being encouraged to transition to male. How is this helping?

As a lesbian woman I feel so let down by Stonewall, that they fail to acknowledge a range of views, that they seem to conflate sex and gender, and that Stonewall is demonising those who wish to hold respectful and open debates about these issues. I feel marginalised as a lesbian.

I want women only spaces to be just that. A person with a penis is not a woman.

Stonewall has become a homophobic organization and one that unquestioningly supports "transitioning" children who would most likely be gay adults if they were left to experience their natural puberty.
