trying to shame lesbians into sex with male bodied persons, and destroying the efforts of dedicated female athletes by forcing them to compete with male bodied athletes, is wrong. Trying to vilify and shame those who express this view does not make this view any less valid.

For many queer people our liberation begins with the abolition of gender. This can never take place while part of our movement is engaged in promoting regressive sexist stereotypes.

Trans (no pun intended)parancy and calm debate are the cornerstones of general understanding of people with different viewpoints and stances. Otherwise it becomes dictator oriented, which is exclusive rather than inclusive. Everyone needs to be heard, and to maintain empathy for all. We are all on the same team after all

As a lesbian, I no longer feel Stonewall cares about me or my loved experience. As a woman, I feel it has abandoned me altogether. I no longer feel Pride in the rainbow flag. LGB organisations are now more concerned with heteosexual men claiming to be something they can never be, and that they're the most victimised group in the history of minorities because of biological reality, than with same sex love and relationships and sex-based issues.

Stonewall urgently need to reconsider their priorities. At the moment their enthusiastic embrace of transgender ideology means they are pushing an agenda which is severely homophobic. Trans ideology upholds the rigid gender stereotypes that are the cause of so much homophobic bullying. As well, lesbians are being forced to consider biological males as sexual partners, lest they are called bigots. How is this not gay correction therapy in the extreme?

A truly gender-diverse and queer liberated society will never be built upon the silencing of women

You are doing a great disservice to LGBT people in allowing your org aims to be dominated by a small group of anti L and misogynist trans activists who have no intention of transitioning and are using you to gain unfair influence. Please reconsider your approach. Also, please do not allow Ps and MAPs to join your org or you will lose all support.

Stonewall appears to have lost it way and has given in or over to activists who seem to actively hate women of any orientation including trans. Gender is double speak, made up and pointless.

I believe the debate and discussion about self ID has become toxic and abusive to women. I have wanted to take part in online discussion regarding self ID but am too intimidated to voice opinion, concern, or knowledge, for fear of being labelled transphobic or hateful. I believe everyone is entitled to equal human rights, but the rights that have been won for women and children’s safe spaces should not be at risk to protect the feelings of a tiny percentage of people. I have questions of transwomen competing in women’s professional sport, or the possibility of self IDing trans women manipulating women’s bursuries or other roles is a concern to me. If it helps a natal born man to dress and live as a woman without gender reassignment surgery that is fine, I will call her she, I will try to avoid dead naming as a kindness - but dead naming should not be illegal. It is history, it is the historical fact of that person. Because a person has body dysmorphia should not mean they get a free witness protection plan. It should be a courtesy to avoid dead naming, not a law. I could go on, but I’ll stay anonymous on this petition until the campaign of hate against women defending themselves stops.

I don't have a 'gender identity' and I'm never going to accept this being imposed from above.

I am signing anonymously because I do not want to risk exposing my daughter, who is a lesbian. I am disgusted-and angered-by the pressure being put on her, on all lesbians, to accept male-bodied, Transwomen as sexual partners or else be labelled Transphobic, TERFs , haters etc. I am appalled that Stonewall is not speaking out against the behaviour of these hideous TRAs, but rather effectively condoning it. It seems to me that Stonewall has allowed a small minority of people to hijack the organization. Wake up for God's sake. There is surely a backlash coming and while the organization's leadership might have brought this on themselves, the gay men, lesbian women, bi-sexual and transsexual people who will be caught up in it, have done nothing to deserve this.

I am very worried about the lack of consultation with all affected by this which includes biological women as well as trans women. Lesbian women particular are being disregarded.

If some people representing 'the trans community' continue to stick labels on people and stifle debate it further polorises people who may not be that far apart. People who have genuine concerns on these complex issues are not haters or transphobes or terfs. There can be nuances in the discussion.
