I feel that Stonewall is not representing me as a Lesbian woman. It is not transphobic to want debate.

Sound debate is vital, for all of us. There is nothing to gain from steamrolling over women’s rights, and it will damage important societal relationships, possibly even more than it has already.

As a feminist it concerns me that an organisation which is rooted in the politics of liberation should be acting in a way that appears to reinforce gender stereotypes. As a mother I'm concerned that parents who do not want to rush into labelling children - who go through many changes as they develop - are being called transphobic.

Stonewall needs to drop the rhetoric that there can be no debate - it is anti-democratic and sidelines the legitimate interests of women. If you can't see how sinister "Repeat after us" is, you are too deep inside your echo chamber.

Stonewall have alienated so many of us by their head-in-the-sand and fingers-in-the-ears approach to how the GRA proposed amendments will affect the safety of women and girls. Stonewall, and very many others, have been completely dismissive of concerns about women's rights. These are far from unfounded. This is their chance to pull back from that stance and work with us before it's too late.

As a lesbian I am deeply troubled by your stance on these issues and your refusal to allow debate.

Stonewall might as well remove the L from its remit. It has no concern for women - lesbians or straight -and has allowed common sense to be obscured by dogmatic ideology. In years to come they will find they were very much on the wrong side of HERstory.

Stifling discussion is unnecessary if you have valid arguments. It only makes sense when you know your position won’t stand up to debate. Please help work towards a solution whereby transgender people are safe and treated with respect, without undermining women’s rights and safety.

Please reconsider your position Stonewall. Lesbians are being steamrolled and called "transphobic" for being exclusively same-sex attracted. Can you not see the ridiculousness in an organisation such as yourself not standing against this? You've betrayed some long standing lesbian activists who really need your help to fight the misogyny that's directed at many lesbian women, such as Linda Bellos OBE, and Julie Bindel. Please stand by these women who have done so much for the lesbian community and for women in general.

We cannot fight oppression against people who are same-sex attracted if we don’t acknowledge the material reality of sex. We can’t fight sexism and it’s ugly twin homophobia with the post-modern reletavist concept of Gender Identity.

Its very alienating to be called a bigot for knowledge of scientific facts. Please stop backing yourselves into a corner and sewing division amongst people who would otherwise be strong allies.

Because they are detrimental to the gay and lesbian community, which is saddening, given Stonewall's origins
