Where is your compassion for those who have 'detransitioned'? Where is the analysis of why someone might want to 'change sex' (i.e. homophobia)? Where does it leave women if men can 'be' them?

It hurts me deeply that Stonewall was an organisation I felt proud of. I have really supported Stonewall and all that they have stood for and campaigned on. Now I feel nothing but shame that they have so low into an arena of hate and division. I really urge Stonewall to think again and stand up for all human rights.

Today I witnessed the harm done to the wider family of a child who has been immediately affirmed. You are playing with the mental health of young children and disenfranchising 50% of the population. This is real harm, here and now.

I share the concerns about the undermining of lesbians, the reluctance to have open and reasonable debate, and the inaccurate charge that wanting such discussion is transphobic.

Sexuality is based on sex not gender. Using gender would make lesbian and gay into meaningless words. How could anyone say they are only attracted to women if they don’t know who identifies as a woman and who doesn’t without asking them?

Agree that transgender policy should not negatively affect women and yet this is what we are seeing being put into action.

It's not transphobic to want an open debate about allowing men who self i.d as women into protected female spaces nor is it transphobic to insist that lesbians dont have penises.

Thank you for doing this, your petition wording is spot on. Stonewall have done some amazing work for gay rights and I don’t understand how they have lost their way so badly. They are misusing their considerable brand and influence by ignoring, denying and attempting to silence any discussion of the conflict between their demands and women and children’s rights.

Stonewall should not be so dismissive of women's rights. Women have been at the forefront of supporting gay, lesbian and trans rights. Any organisations that do not engage in reasonable debates and call other's transphobic for having a difference of opinion should not be trusted as you do not have and inclusive agenda. Stonewall is definitely the right name for an organisation that thinks their agenda and rights are above everyone else's and this includes the children you say you want to help. Equality isn't about taking on others rights it's about having rights that support you to be equal to others rights

Children must not be involved in decision making on issues that are far too you and inexperienced to understand
Why don't Stonewall meet up with Women's Place UK, Fair Play for Women , Standing for awomen and engage in reasonable adult debate and discussion?

This is a pragmatic, respectful approach. I hope Stonewall respond in the same way. As a mother to a lesbian daughter, I know how erased she feels by Stonewall’s approach.

I fear Stonewall's cult-like adherence to a rigid ideology that is unscientific and dangerous will ultimately do the trans community more harm than good. The wider public won't capitulate.

I never thought i would be signing a petition to stonewall asking them not to be homophobic. Stonewall used to mean something.

The refusal to countenance any discussion means that we can't take an evidence-based approach to finding solutions to these problems. This harms women, but it harms trans people too. Please Stonewall - reconsider.

If you cannot debate, then you have no argument, only bullying tactics.
If you have an argument then make it.
Don't just silence women and those concerned about their rights.
It really is not a good look.
