Please rethink your approach, which is dangerous to women, and particularly to children who are at high risk of lasting and irrevocable harm.

Your current position is overshadowing all the gains you made in the past and has turned Stonewall into just another boys club. Trans activists are demanding extra, not equal, rights, at the cost of women and girls.

We can work this out but it will take a conversation, maybe a debate, but no blind adherence to stubborn doctrines. Please don’t dismantle all you’ve achieved.

The very fact that I am not signing publicly for fear of you (Stonewall) and other TRAs damaging me says it all really.

Please start to recognize the conflicts, safeguarding risks to women and help foster a civil discussion. You are letting women, including lesbians and transexual people down by this wide ranging, wide open Self ID support, with no debate and no discussion.

This issue must be open to discussion and debate. Demonising anyone who questions or critiques Stonewall's policies is unacceptable.

The need for respect in debate is huge. That means accepting proven established scientific fact. Trans people are not the same as their acquired gender though they live alongside. This doesn’t diminish their human rights
The needs of the many have priority over the needs of the few but that doesnt mean we neglect their needs. We address them insofar as facticity allows, as the needs of the majority allow
Wants and desires do not trump facts. ‘Feelings’ Don’t trump facts
Repeated falsehoods do not trump facts

I helped arrange a meeting of Gay Lib in 1970. All my parties are full of cross-dressers and queers. Seems like Stonewall has been taken over by misogynists who want to silence women

I started medical transition for a few years then I desisted, I started having gender dysphoria when young, in reality probably through various reasons. I am also a lesbian who does not agree with the idea of gender identity to explain gender dysphoria, or agree with the concept in law. There are many issues in the current transgender narrative that stonewall are uncritically pushing that I believe will be harmful in the long run and refusing to discuss these issues will not help anyone.

Please stop trying to erase women. Trans women need protection and rights yes. Natal women need those same protections and the right to women only spaces.

Women's rights and sex based protections should not be sacrificed in the name of trans -gender rights.
Sex based protections must be acknowledged, at the same time as trans rights are protected.

We have to stop making this about transphobia and start considering how the implications of introducing self identification of gender will impact upon women's rights to safe spaces.

I'm a male homosexual against men's hatred of lesbians. We might not always get on, but conflating femininity with womanhood is sexism. Calling womanhood a feeling is misogyny. If you want a movement to represent yourself, make one, by all means. But we fought too hard to convince the world that our attraction to the same biological sex was unshakable and that women get a raw deal of things because of their biological sex , not because they feel like a woman, to take this current nonsense seriously.

Stonewall is privileging self-identified queer people - many of whom are neither gay nor trans - over actual homosexual and transexual people. Transgender activism is misogynistic and increasingly homophobic - we are seeing more and more assertions by trans activists that having sexual preferences is transphobic. The hard-won rights of gay people, particularly lesbians, are at risk and Stonewall is now part of the problem.

I have hidden my name from the list because I have seen transactions hunt down women for being gender critical. Stonewall needs to reconsider.
