I do not wish to take away any existing rights of trans people. However, I do not understand why the mantra 'Trans women are women' has been adopted unquestioningly. From it has sprung so much harm. Trans people should have the right of any citizen, but not at the expense of women's hard-won rights.

I believe trans rights should be separate from LGB rights, as they are not about sexual orientation. I also have been traumatized by the harassment and intimidation of women, children, and of lesbians like myself by trans people. We have fought too hard and long to have these rights threatened so violently as has been happening by the trans community. No one should have to sacrifice their own rights simply because someone identifies a certain way or gets offended by biology. This trans movement is harmful on many levels. I feel that Pride has become a shame now because of this. Women and children are being attacked and abused. Young girls are lesbians are being erased. This is insane and a crime agsjbey

As a lesbian, I used to be firmly behind Stonewall and the work they have done for our community. I cannot believe they are now throwing lesbians and women under the bus like this

The politics around this issue have become polarised and debate repressed through threats and accusations. Healthy discourse is required.

I'm a British citizen and a Kiwi. Very concerned that LGBT organisations are promoting misogyny and homophobia.

Sex based rights must remain paramount - only biological females can be lesbians. To suggest otherwise is lesbophobia.

Please protect people born female from becoming easy targets of male violence. People with a penis should not be allowed in female only spaces like toilets, changing rooms, prisons etc.

Using discussion to arrive at an informed position on significant proposed changes in the law is not transphobia. Stonewall’s position is stifling debate and legitimising misogynistic silencing.

Trans people should absolutely have rights but it should not come at the costs of female fought for gains and rights.

The silencing needs to stop. Lesbians need to be heard.

A "woman" with functioning genitals, is a man.

This is merely the continuation of the silencing of women by men. Identification is a farce designed to push women to the side.

Your continued refusal to engage in reasoned debate and critical thinking, your dismissal of genuine safeguarding concerns about those who will seek to abuse the proposed gra reforms to gain access to women and girls (incl trans women and trans girls for goodness sake!) is actively hurting the transgender movement. Please, please help facilitate a meeting of minds, where all concerns can be discussed.

Women are being silenced. Debate is being shut down. My rights are being eroded.

Where is your support for Lesbians? Why are you so gungho on heterosexual men's rights? Get your head out! REMOVE THE T from homosexual organizations and let them get their own!
