Both of these endeavors before Harrison's Planning Board ( one of which, Soccer, was pushed through the Pl. Bd. Mtgs. As quickly as possible, are totally against everything the Harrison/Purchase Master Plan, dated December, 2013, states the Town wants for these communities. What is really going on in our town and why? Taxpayers want answers.

It seems stupid to substantially increase traffic AND allow an entity that will not pay real estate taxes to take the place of homes that will pay their fair share of taxes?

I am fully behind the actions in this petition. At some point sooner than later, we also need Rte 120 fixed, from Anderson Hill Rd to the airport! In the 20 years we've lived in Purchase, it has never been repaved. It's a travesty that it looks more like a roadway in a depressed area, while the residents who use it everyday are paying upwards of $80K in annual property taxes. Apparently, since it's a state road, the upkeep of it gets lost in the squabble of "who is responsible for its repair?!"

This part of Westchester already has more than its share of soccer events. The traffic and noise are out of sync with our quiet residential neighborhoods, and the requested conditions are a no-brainer... No MLS games; no MLS scrimmages; no additional tournaments.

We oppose this religous institution being developed next door to our home. It will affect our quality of life greatly and that is not why we purchased this home in this community only 2 years ago.

I am a Purchase resident for over 20 Years and thjere is so much more traffic and congestion it is becoming unbearable. We need a moratorium on commercial development.

Why not build this in downtown Harrison? We are still waiting for Manhattanville Road to be closed as per the previous master plan of Harrison. This area has beared the brunt of intense building the likes of which has not been seen in the rest of Harrison.
