The intersection at Anderson Hill Road and. Purchase Street is already often a nightmare for such a small village. How can the Harrison a Planning Board continue to approve projects that ruin our quality of life and the environment in Purchase?

There is no way that our beautiful piece of heaven can accomodate anything that will bring more traffic on our roads. We only have two roads open to public traffic, Purchase Street and Anderson Hill Road: and, as it is, they are overwhelmed most days. These two projects cannot come to Purchase.

Please protect the Purchase Street/Anderson Hill Intersection. We have a wonderful school and this kind of development should get pushed to the 287 corridor. thanks, Neal and Beth Bronzo

Both the big church idea and the Major League Soccer field idea would create terrible traffic issues. Special interests here are looking at maps, not reality. These are rural roads that already have difficult traffic issues. Harrison planners should also note that the grandiose new traffic interchange at 8E/8W forgot Purchase residents completely! With their once simple access East to 287 recently eliminated, most Purchase residents must now travel a much more heavily trafficed route, now requiring use of Anderson Hill Road and Purchase Street to enter onto 287 East, or to enter WP and then take Westchester Ave with its numerous lights and police traps going East. These 2 routes now add another 5 minutes to 287 East access. Doable, but not at all convenient, and terrible planning.

I totally support PEPA in these matters. Purchase is already bursting at the seams with too much traffic as it is. This tiny community should remain a residential community with it's approximately 700 residents. As it currently stands residents plan their day around the rush hour traffic! We don't need to compound the problem. What is the master plan for Purchase? Enough is enough!

I support PEPA's objections to these two proposals. The Rye house of worship expansion of a residential property would seriously endanger the safety of Purchase schoolchildren & residents. Manhattanville's sports facility ambitions would burden an already unsafe Purchase traffic intersection as well as violate its historic role as an educational facility located in Purchase while serving national & international students.

Traffic on Andersen Hill Road can be horrendous going to White Plains as it is. As a concerned resident, I do not wish for any further development.

I agree with Lisa. We already have Beeline buses, and traffic that exceeds the speed limit on Anderson Hill Road. Kids living on Anderson Hill and New Street often walk to school. The church is going to be on the side of the street that has a sidewalk. Safety should be a priority!

There are so very many reasons why this construction is problematic to our community! Not only the traffic factor, but the proximity of having a public church- open during the day - being so close to an elementary school. The safety of the children should be paramount!
