Time to judge the judges

Gov seem bother listen to deaf people due don't care and bloody not understand word is interpeter

In January 2014, the (then) Minister of State, Kathleen Lynch, TD appeared in the Seanad during a debate on the ‘Recognition of Irish Sign Language for the Deaf Community Bill (2013)’ and stated that “we need to put the service in place before we put the legislation in place” and that the “Bill is putting the cart before the horse”. This petition highlights how rights already exist but they are easily ignored. Perhaps politicians will now see the benefit of place the rights of the Deaf community to have proper access through Irish Sign Language in a specific piece of legislation that can be easily referred to, putting a stop to this kind of practice.

That it very important need interpreter can't do with out

This is an outrageous and unacceptable infringement of basic human rights. This judgememt needs to be challenged.

Deaf people must have an interpreter very important. They have their rights.

We're all equal

This is a major breach to basic and fundamental Human Rights!

That's a disgrace judge in Bray did the same thing to 3 people

I have very special deaf people in my family. It's not their Daly that they are born that way. They are human beings, registered citizens in this so called fair country, with the right to vote. The same courtesy should apply to them in court as every other citizen of this country . Shame on that judge .!

More important for deaf people must need BSL INTERPTER. Human right.

Must must have interpreter level 6'in court! Myself been in court have provide level bsl interpreter!

Everyone is entitled to fair representation.

Discrimination deaf clint without an interpreter at the court and Judge Paul Kelly should be sacked if he don't attend Deaf Awareness course
