Deaf People's right to Irish Sign Language Access in the Judicial System.

It's the right thing to do

How would that judge like it is the world was dominated by sign language and only a few spoken languages were around. The courts only used sign language and no one could follow spoken language - surely how would he feel. In fact everyone should try to communicate with someone with out speaking for a month - no spoken words no hand gestures it will make them realise what it like to be deaf and to rely on sign language alone

I want to support him and it's unfair also where is his human right.

Interpreter must be there for no miscross understand ..... How can we deaf understand in hearing 1 st language and we 2 nd BSL first language. No excused and they illegally ignored us BSL language !!

Please interpreter must provide and deaf people have human rights to have interpreter make deaf people r full understanding of everything what hearing people say. Thank you

It is vital for everyone to access the information anywhere especially in courts. Deaf people must get the same treatment as hearing people.

It's not fair to saying this to deaf people, deaf people deserve to do Irish Sign Language by seen on camera video or OK any television by video this. Deaf people are proud of using theirs language in the crowd of many people in the city and signing without any second thoughts. Hearing people who is discrimination against people with Irish Sign Language, please stop.... I sign this petition because Irish Sign Language is deserved to be show everywhere even in the camera even worldwide.

I agreed deaf peoples need have interpreter with court very important. Court don't know how to sign.. How court know what deaf peoples problem. Court would listen both hearing and deaf.. court not allow believe hearing than deaf/blind/anythings.. Please get deaf lady back live there and keep go to court with interpreter again please it's her right thank you

Disqualified Judge Paul Kelly immediately because he wasn't doing his job accordingly the rules. He's breaking the law for not postpone the date if no interpreter available. SHOCKING!!!!!!!!

It important to have an interpreter for deaf people in courts , without an interpreter it will misunderstand for them !

I think it's very wrong for the decision without an interpreter and discrimination. It's should be cancel and postponed if no interpreter. Hopefully it's sort it out. Regards Glen Cunningham
