I lost a son to a drunk driver and he went to prison. Why shouldn’t deadly drugged drivers get the same?

It is unbelievable that there are such laws restricting law enforcement from protecting us from intoxicated drivers.

Seems ridiculous that you can arrest a drunk driver without knowing what alcohol one consumed, but can’t arrest a drug impaired driver without knowing the name of the drug. Impaired is impaired.

This bill should definitely pass. Impaired driving whether by alcohol or drugs, should not be tolerated.

Young drivers who take drugs should take drug test just like a drunk driver because they are killing innocent drivers on the road young and old no parent should lose a son or a daughter or family member or family member should not lose husband or wife or any members of their family because young drivers who take drugs law should pass so every one on the road can be safe

Impairment is impairment. Close the loopholes and hold people responsible for their actions.

My brother is a victim of a drugged driver, and unfortunately lost his life due to this tragedy. Pass the bill already and hold these people accountable.

My brother Raymond Hubbard was hit and killed by a car on February 24,2024 in Coram, Ny. The driver did stay at the scene he admitted to being high on marijuana. He was arrested and released next morning and is being charged with driving under influence of drugs. My brother was paralyzed and in a wheelchair when the gentleman ran him over and killed him. We have been going back and forth to court for the gentleman who killed our brother and he is using race against us and accusing the the judge of being bias because the judge apologized to the family for our loss and now the judge chose to step down off the case due to being accused of being bias by the lawyer of the gentleman who ran our brother over. The ADA on the case is very rude and dismissive and brushes us off when we speak. We need media coverage for justice for our brother. We Want JUSTICE FOR RAYMOND!!!!!!!!!!
