Considering marijuana is now legal thanks to your irresponsible decision people feel free to use any & all drugs while driving. You have a responsibility to the people of NY to protect us from addicts behind the wheel & habitual offenders.

As a law enforcement official with over 33 years of service, I fully support this legislation to help the men and women of law enforcement to continue to try and keep our streets and communities safe.

Drug impaired driving has always been a risk, but is even more concerning with the legalization of marijuana. This is a common sense and necessary law. The method of drug ingestion should not be determinative. Any drug induced impairment should be illegal.

As someone who is pursuing a career in law enforcement and has met children whose parents have been killed by drugged drivers, it is infuriating that these people aren't held accountable for their actions.
