Please for all us victim's who suffer daily. Help us know you care for us americans who suffer from something so preventable, but will never go away. All we could ever hope for are stonger laws that will help make accountability more noticeable to those who suffer feeling no hope. We feel like society is so accepting of something to me kills way more than tobacco, but because it is so acceptable by every American in the world , we profit and watch more and more people suffer from something that is so preventable. But we don't prevent it in fear of the almighty dollar.

We have severe penalties for operating a moving vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (which is a legal substance) but, if you are under the influence of illegal or improperly used prescribed drugs, the law looks past you! This is a slap in the face of logical comprehension.

My nephew was killed by a driver high on fentanyl who was in repeated accidents over the years and had he been removed from the roads our family would still have my only nephew, my sister and husband would have their only son and our parents would still have their sole grandchild.
Senseless death caused by a person that had no fear of the laws on the books so it’s overdue the laws be changed to put some teeth into them and actually enforce what’s on the books.
Stop with the plea bargains/slaps on the wrist to get the habitual offenders out the door back onto the highways to cause destruction to themselves and other families.
Obviously my family will never get our loved one back but if this prevents the devastation of another family then it needs to happen.
Get this done ASAP

My 23 year old daughter Leanna was killed 5 years ago by a drunk driver. Justice was not served... he has been out of prison for over 2 years for "good behavior" This needs to be addressed for impaired as well as drunk drivers.
