Everyone should be encouraged to pray. God WILL hear & answer...He can do more through our prayers than millions of signatures.

Please keep sharing & asking people to sign, this is something that needs to change , Maybe Timothy would still be here if they would have changed this the first time it was on her desk…. All we can do now is keep trying!! It seems so simple, like it’s the right thing to do , idk why it’s so hard to get to 5000….

On march 19th, 2023, Timothý Cameron Carpenter was killed by a man who was driving on fentanyl. This man has utterly destroyed a family and ripped apart a community. This could have been prevented, had this addict been arrested before. There are many families everyday who are impacted by drugged drivers! How many families must be impacted?, How many communities have suffered before something is done? As of right now, Law Enforcement cannot arrest a driver who is obviously impaired without being able to name the drug impairing the driver. The drug has to be on a specific list and the driver can just refuse a test and avoid charges. The following petition is to help pass the Deadly Driving Bill. The current law now in New York is absoluty ridiculous. This help will prevent such horrible tragedies like the one that happened to the Carpenters and other families.
