Protect teachers and students!

I’m a DCPS senior and I don’t feel safe. I need to protect my family and myself and DCPS isn’t taking it seriously. Teachers, parents, and students are asking for a transition to virtual and somehow our voices don’t seem to matter.

Requesting to go completely virtual for the remainder of the year.

Let our children stay safe … they need to be home

My friend is a teacher in DC and she deserves to work in an environment that is safe and healthy!!

We demand safer schools. Stop helping spreading any variants of COVID. If any child is at risk while at home put supporting wrap around services in to place. For at risk families as well as for the COVID variants surging.

We need access to tests for ALL students, OUTSIDE of class time, perhaps at lunch or after school.

This is a very serious and contagious virus and children are catching it at a alarming rate. Virtual learning should be put in place temporarily.

Seems a no brainer

I think we should go back to virtual learning, I had Covid and it was not pleasant

ALL Staff and Teachers should be notified directly when someone they’ve been in contact with tests positive for COVID!

We need transparency from the union and DCPS office.

There isn’t a way to return safely to school right now.

DCPS' problems stem from the fact that it is controlled by the Mayor, who is mainly focused on the economy. We need a separate fixture to keep teachers and students safe!
