I’m a DCPS senior and I don’t feel safe. I need to protect my family and myself and DCPS isn’t taking it seriously. Teachers, parents, and students are asking for a transition to virtual and somehow our voices don’t seem to matter.

We demand safer schools. Stop helping spreading any variants of COVID.
If any child is at risk while at home put supporting wrap around services in to place. For at risk families as well as for the COVID variants surging.

We need access to tests for ALL students, OUTSIDE of class time, perhaps at lunch or after school.

This is a very serious and contagious virus and children are catching it at a alarming rate. Virtual learning should be put in place temporarily.

ALL Staff and Teachers should be notified directly when someone they’ve been in contact with tests positive for COVID!

DCPS' problems stem from the fact that it is controlled by the Mayor, who is mainly focused on the economy. We need a separate fixture to keep teachers and students safe!
