I am in complete support of the DCCRs and By-Law Advancement Petition

I am in favor of advancing the discussion on possible changes.

I previously withdrew my signature due to lack of information. I would like to add my signature back if it would help give the residents the number of signatures required for a vote on it.

I withdrew my signature in the past. They are so close to their goal I would like to sign and give the residents a vote

I could sign for #5 and #7. Although, others address issues that I can see cause some to roll their eyes, I think it would be unwise to change them. Instead of allowing firearms, why not request some community gun range? I could go for that type of thing, but only if it were soundproofed and somehow with safety measures....probably a pipe dream though, as I think it would require staffing and that would not be free to us. We're simply too close to one another to allow open shooting. I

We are leaving Texas. This is for the new people and you to have a better say in this neighborhood policy.

I do not agree with the 50% masonry. They already allow Hardie Siding. Everything other than that is okay.

We are 100% AGAINST any of the proposed changes being offered and strongly feel that this is a waste of POA time and money to address any attempt to lower the standards of ownership in Mystic Shores. Our board of directors has a fiduciary responsibility to uphold our restrictions and covenants. We expect compliance and enforcement in all matters concerning our legal documents.

Don’t agree, or care, for all proposed changes but open to folks having the discussion.

Does this include the Peninsula as well? I don’t agree with several proposed changes. Including masonry that matches home with fencing conveys architectural consistency Garages should be finished and have side entry. It was one of the reasons we purchased in MS. Driving along looking at unfinished garages full of storage is unappealing and may impact property values. I ‘d like to see restrictions on animal husbandry remain in place. I would not like chickens or other farm animals wandering on my property or being impacted by noisy animals Fire arm discharge restriction to remain in place especially if the county guidelines are less restrictive. I don’t like the idea of folks discharging firearms in a residential neighborhood. Can someone tell me in what instance would discharging a gun be necessary except in self defense if someone were breaking into a home? Masonry requirements to remain as is. Again, the uniformity of the stone and/or brick is what makes Mystic Shores a beautiful and desirable place to live. I agree with term limits, litigation financial disclosures, and streaming of meetings for transparency

Do not agree with some of the changes.

I do no support all of the proposed changes but we need to bring the community together and work to support individual property owners while maintaining the integrity of the community. Most of us bought property in MS because it is restricted. I will support reasonable changes that do not jeopardize the aesthetics of MS. In order to make decisions however, all changes should be presented in the form of redline and strike outs to current approved documents so each individual can make there own assessment of the need and impact of any proposed changes. A comment should be added that explains the need for the change.

We purchased being aware of all DCCRs and Bylaws. It is the reason we chose Mystic Shores. I do not agree with changes and hence lowering our property values.

Communication is positive

We don’t support any amendments to the DCCR’s and By-Laws. All who own agreed to them when the lots were bought.

I also don’t think builders should be able to purchase lots to build spec homes with builder grade materials. This is literally making part of our neighborhood look bad and I’m having one built right on top of me. This neighborhood should be custom homes only! It’s ridiculous!
