The Board of County Commissioners officially approved the development plans for the bike park this morning. We are now transitioning our focus to monitoring the construction timeline to ensure the project adheres to the agreed specifications.

We are approaching the 250 signature threshold required to secure a formal review from the parks department. Increasing our total count today ensures we have the necessary leverage when we submit the proposal for the upcoming planning commission session.

I met with the Parks and Recreation director yesterday to present the initial proposal for the site layout. They requested a formal feasibility study which I am currently drafting with local cycling advocates.

We are approaching the one hundred signature threshold which is the benchmark required to open a formal dialogue with the Douglas County parks department. Focus your efforts on securing additional signers today so we have the necessary documentation for our upcoming meeting with planning officials.

100% would like this to happen! We travel to Boulder only twice a year because of the distance. Having one on the south side would be awesome!
A bike park that is integrated with the bike trail system and sensitive to the natural state of the open space of the backcountry wilderness would be a great resource.
Judging from the size of the high school mtb clubs and the number of riders in our community, the bike park would be well used! I vote yes!
We need a fun safe place to practice our skills that doesn't involve us driving way out of town. I will personally help build.
This would be a great resource and addition to the biking community. It would be great if it were possible to host multiple events such as cyclocross races as well.
I'd love to see this become a reality.

I support the idea, but I hope for a bike park that is not JUST dirt jumps (Ruby Hill). Valmont is successful because riders of multiple styles and various abilities can have fun there for hours. So far Ruby Hill will only appeal to dirt jumpers.
