Please get bikes and scooters OFF sidewalks and force them to respect traffic laws.

These bike lanes and the horrible plastic white sticks etc that have been thrown up all over our city are a disaster along with these aggressive people on those Dawn electric scooters who act like they should occupy the street as if they are a car. This is the worst place ever now. Thank you to the Coalition but this problem extends to the entire city not just Connecticut Ave.

The bike lanes on 17th Street SE and throughout Ward 6 limit residential parking and have created significant traffic backups

There is definitely no need to put bike lanes everywhere, the traffic conditions, the neighborhood requirements and the amount of traffic a street carries needs to be taken into consideration.

DC is not Amsterdam and trying to make it such is beyond stupid. Since the inception of the bike lanes - and loss of resident parking due to the bike lanes - they have caused nothing but delays and major congestion. Whose bright idea was this? Clearly someone needs firing.

We don’t need dumb azz bike lanes. My commute to and from work went from 10 min to 30 min and I see on average 2-3 bikers when it’s warm and 0 when it’s cold

Bad for seniors, bad for businesses.

17th St is a disaster and travesty. Approximately 35-40 parking spaces from S to P st have been removed, badly hurting local businesses.

I couldn’t agree more , this is a nightmare for businesses , residents etc. protected bike lanes in commercial districts just don’t work

Stop taking parking for bike lanes. There are MORE than enough bike lanes now and parking is already too difficult. I favor providing spaces for elderly and those who can’t use bicycles.

Angered and disappointed by the lack of community consideration in implementing road changes

We need to encourage bike use, but that has to come with responsibilities. Bicyclists should be obliged to follow the same rules that govern cars. 90 percent of DC bicyclists in my experinece blitz through stop signs and traffic lights. It's dangerous for everyone. I wish pedestrians had the same political influence as the bicycle lobby.
