Recently, GamePass has migrated to DAZN. We, the customers of NFL GamePass are extremely dissatisfied with the loss of quality and features.
For many of us, the DAZN broadcasting experience makes watching the NFL unattractive.
We are urging the NFL to take back ownership of the GamePass and continue providing a high-quality product.
This is a (not necessarily comprehensive) list of things that DAZN is missing in comparison to the former GamePass.
1. No possibility to download games to own device
2. Advertising before streams - Highly annoying and not understandable for Paid TV
3. All 22 tape missing entirely
4. 30 seconds forward / backward navigation - Not only is this unhandy for football games (10 seconds is much better), even worse using the feature has a tendency to crash the stream, requiring a complete restart
5. Stream quality - Bad quality streams reported such as only Full HD resolution despite good bandwidth (9+ MBit)
6. Local blocking - eg. subscribers commuting between Belgium and the Netherlands can only watch while in the country where they subscribed. Or eg. Non-UK subscribers traveling to the UK for London games are unable to use GamePass while in the UK
7. No original US ads - All advertisement breaks are filled with the same mind-numbing low-quality, soporific DAZN ad. Takes away from the "American experience" and makes watching games at night unnecessarily hard
8. Only three devices allowed (DAZN normally 5)
9. No possibility of joining a stream from its beginning (spoiler-free without seeing the current score)
10. Reports of irregularities in billing. DAZN promised no price change for the GamePass but announcs it is transferring the yearly subscription to a (much more expensive) monthly subscription after 2023
11. Missing halftime show or analysis
12. Missing Chromecast support
13. Ad breaks not removed in "relive"s

We are urging the NFL to take back ownership of GamePass and guarantee the high-quality viewing experience that made the NFL so successful outside the US. This migration is a huge disappointment. We customers deserve better for our money!

UPDATE Aug 23rd, 2023: I got aware of a support email of the German DAZN Support stating that "starting from week 1 of the regular season we will show German and/or US ads". It further states that "we are trying to improve our product every day, so you can watch the same NFL-game as before". This is the German original text: "Ich wollte dich darüber informieren, dass wir ab der 1. Woche der regulären Saison die Spiele mit US-Werbung bzw. deutscher Werbung zeigen werden und wir versuchen unser Produkt jeden Tag zu verbessern, damit du das gleiche NFL-Spiel sehen kannst wie damals."

As an American living in Germany, I have not yet subscribed to DAZN for exactly the reasons given in this petition. I want the full Game Pass experience or I will find another option to watch the games. This downgrade in quality is unacceptable.
Not only do you not get American Adverts, which would at least be understandable for live games, but you have to watch adverts for your own country on a service you paid for, and then adverts for replay, how is this a justifiable paid streaming service?
We have bought GamePass for a number of years now as a birthday present for my son. He has told me of his disappointment with the new platform & having read various reports I agree that the DAZN offering is substandard to what has previously been offered
Giant step back for quality and features. I watch downloaded games offline and now I have paid AU$280 for nothing. Would not refund because they said I watched more than 15 minutes. If it was 15minutes is was a buffering circle and a DAZN logo on loop
Same price, less benefits. Terrible value. Terrible streaming quality, blacks out quite often. But the absolute worst point is unable to stream two devices at once. NO watching multiple games. No watching RedZone and a game. This is an absolute rip off.
Whoever decided to go with DAZN at the NFl should be fired! DAZN is not even available in many countries!1!!!
GamePass is bad and they keep finding ways to make it worse. 1. Yes there is a "hide scores" toggle, I use it all the time. (except when they arbitrarily rest the toggle for me) But even when on, the final score shows clearly for 1.5 seconds at the start of the game! 2. I only watch condensed games. They actually put the clips out of order! Don't they check their work? My 7-year-old knows to do that.

I can only log in on my phone and my browser. I can't log in with Roku device, I can't log in with Amazon Fire TV, I can't log in with Google TV, I can't log in with a generic android tv streamer... But I got charged immediately, the full price.
