DAZN is currently not providing the NFL Game Pass premium service fans have paid for and are expecting.

Whilst the initial overcharging of fans has been resolved there are some core and vital aspects of the service that are seriously detracting from the experience. For such an expensive fan service we are asking that they are resolved before the season begins:

- REMOVE COMMERCIAL BREAKS: ad breaks were previously edited out of ALL NFL Game Pass uploaded (non-live) games but are currently being left in.

- REPLACE OR VARY THE LIVE GAME AD-BREAK FILLER: the live broadcast ad-break filler being used is a single, short looping animation and soundtrack that repeats ad-nauseam for ALMOST AN HOUR per game, and is already becoming torturous for many fans.

- FIX THE STREAMING/APP AREFACTING: somewhere in the transcode/broadcast /streaming process artefacts and ghosting are being added to pre-recorded NFL content. For example, during the new season of Hard Knocks there are large flickering chunky blocks of break-up around all fast-moving players on the field.

- CUT BACK TO BROADCAST AS SOON AS BROADCAST RESUMES: important plays, commentary and interviews are being missed by a slow return to the broadcast from the ad-break filler. In one or two pre-season games this included touchdowns being missed.

- THE 30 SECOND REW/FF FEATURE NEEDS TO BE SHORTER: as viewers are required to skip huge chunks of un-edited dead air these buttons are vital. Sadly at 30-second increments, each game is broken up with the frustration of skipping back and forth to try and find where the broadcast resumes. A shorter 15-second skip would be more suitable to the content.

As a truly premium costing service, and one with repeat subscribers, there is a basic expectation of at least meeting the previous year's quality of service. At the moment fans are feeling that the quite simple issues mentioned above are currently spoiling the service they have paid for and supported through its growth. Many fans are sadly already seeking refunds this year and won't be returning.

We're asking NFL Game Pass and DAZN to fix these small asks to meet the advertised quality of service, and return NFL Game Pass to the level expected and paid for by us, the subscribers.
