This petition has been organised to bring to your attention how we feel about the recent decision by Pro-fit to terminate Daz Marsh's contract and the fact that this also disallows him from being a freelance trainerat the gym in spite of him being one of the gyms best assets. This has clearly been a case of office politics creating a scenario without any consideration for more than 130 loyal Wigan Total Fitness memberswho weekly attend classes run by Daz or do one-to-one training with him. These 6 classes have built up in numbers over the last few years and are probably the most consistently attended classes in the gym and everyone is extremely disappointed. Secondly if the decision makers had done their homework they would have seen that more than half of the classes are parents who drop their children off at school and then attend Daz’s HIIT class and don't use any other facility at the gym. Therefore if Daz’s classes don’t exist there is a very high probability that our great gym will lose lots of these people as members. All we ask that Daz be allowed to continue his great work at the gym as an independent personal trainer.
