Common Core is vile, it is the opposite of the type of education I recieved at Ctaholic schools. The church's involvement in this is very disturbing. Parents are ready to start pulling kids out of public school, if you want thm to come to you, DO NOT adopt CCSS.

Common Core Standards, the textbooks they use, the tracking that is done is detrimental to the quality education that children in Catholic schools deserve, in order that they may develop their whole beings to know, love, and serve God and be happy with Him forever in Heaven. Thomas More Law Center, a Catholic law Center, has studied Common Core, states the weaknesses, and has prepared an opt-out of testing form for parents, because the testing and tracking is so horrible. Dan Guernsey, a Catholic school educator and principal, has written extensively on the dangers of Common Core for our children. Our Catholic schools should never have co-operated with Common Core. CAtholic schools should remove themselves from these standards, no matter what the cost.

Why would the Catholic Church follow the secular government in the process of dumbing down society. Let Catholic schools offer a superior form of education, and instead of considering closing down schools we will be considering where we should build them.

Why are we trying to fix something that wasn't broken? The education my daughter was getting before Common Core was above "standard" thanks to the wonderful teachers & administrators at her school. It wasn't broken but now it is. Let the awesome teachers within the Archdiocese teach to learn, NOT teach to test!

Parents oppose Common Core Education in every State within the United States for a reason. Parents are demanding a HALT to Common Core as it is a form of child abuse with intense pressure on children and causing damage! Florida Common Core found teaching children about Islam / Muslim Jihad and how God gives them the right to kill Jew's and that the whole world will soon be Muslim! Opening the door to Common Core is poison to our children and our faith! I simply will not place my child under Common Core Education
