The council finally reached out and confirmed the memorial can stay right where it is. I am honestly stunned by this result and I know this happened only because you all spoke up. Thank you for making sure Dave is remembered properly.

All the family of Dave jones are in great disgust with how you and the northumberland council have dealt with the memories on the tree that was specifically for people to see an keep him in our minds when driving past i think it is very rude how you and the council haven't contacted his mother Marion Jones or his Wife Michelle Jones in order to speak to them about the disadvantage having things on the tree this is not the case as many people who have family members that have died have flowers and memos on a tree or near by fence an i disagree with everything that has been done about it even though it has been there over a year OUR FAMILY ARE VERY FURIOUS IN WHAT YOU HAVE DONE !!!!!!!!

I pass these trees everyday and they serve as a reminder of the people who are no longer a part of our community, they are both sadly missed by their family and friends and also remind us how dangerous that stretch of road can be, after all this time it now seems like they are desecrating their graves its discusting and immoral, leave them be
Disgusted at how the council could even think to take away loved ones memories. This is a place for people to reflect on the tragedies and remember their family or friend. Councillor Watson should be ashamed of himself for bringing this to the meeting. #heartless
It is disgusting the way this has been handled, drivers should be concentrating on their driving. This is disrespecting Dave and his family who have suffered enough!!
plz leave this tree alone as its a special place for marion,as a mum who as also lost a son and its the worst pain ever to lose a child,this will destroy her,plz leave it alone.
You can't put a time limit on how long it takes to "get over things" as some selfish people may put it. This was a life lost. Davy was someone's son, brother , uncle and my cousin . He will forever be sadly missed and I don't see why his things should be removed as they are not doing anybody any harm.

All this now has just bought everything flooding back I'm extremely upset as to how this has been handled with no feelings for Michelle or myself considered first or contacted to discuss the matter!!
