Disgusted at how the council could even think to take away loved ones memories. This is a place for people to reflect on the tragedies and remember their family or friend. Councillor Watson should be ashamed of himself for bringing this to the meeting. #heartless

I just don't understand how anyone can be heartless and disrespectful by wanting to remove the memorbilias abd the way the council went on about it by plastering it all over facebook and in papers with out consulting family members disgraceful

Hope they see sense and leave well alone. I can not believe that they did not speak to all families involved first before printing their yet again half baked plans. If anything it reminds people to be more cautious. Thinking of all the fammillies that this is causing unnecessary pain to x

its only been just over a year since davey passed away. its discustin that they want to remove him memorial. how would they feel if it was a member of their family?????????

The council that want the memorials removed are insensitive to the family's that have lost a loved one in these kind of circumstances, if it was one of their family members I am sure it would be different, they need to look at it from the family's point of view and show some compassion for God's sake.
