When I joined the Amida, many years ago, my motivation was to play racquet sports and use the gym. Since then a tennis court has been removed and the badminton facilities shrunk in size. In their place has come an enlarged spa, a hair dressing salon and more dance studios. David Lloyd should make up its mind. Does it want to be a mass market beauty parlour or a sports club.

David Lloyd is special in providing racquet sports plus gym, fitness & spa facilities but currently racquets seem not to be taken seriously... this could kill squash at the club.. tennis also underinvested (floodlights!) & threatening to remove the ability to host league matches. Please do something about it!

Dear David Lloyd, I am prepared to travel long distances and pay muchos money for decent squash facilities. Are you really going to get more members with Blaze?

At d lloyd with 4 squash courts you can play in a team whether it’s a friendly internal club team or external against others - that team camaraderie is something v important for adults and kids to learn and to work with. V soon d lloyd will just be a place for individuals to work out using the latest fad or fitness innovation, selfishly seeking to better themselves but having no regard for others and how they can achieve a better result as a team. Think about it before you destroy team sport at d lloyd

Squash was may main sport for 40 years. My daughters all played for surrey and all still play. Squash has been a very big part of my life and I wish to support all who are playing and to help the younger players move through. They can only do this with Squash Courts.

Squash is here to stay so stop pretending not and leave our courts alone. Blaze will be gone in a blaze literally when the new fitness fad comes along. Squash is not a fad it is a reality.

I am a Level 2 England Squash coach and Middlesex player and I am passionate about the benefits of playing squash not only for the physical health benefits but socia benefits and benefits for mental health. I have been playing squash for over 20 years and these court closures are detrimental to our sport. I personally will always preach about squash as I know how much happiness it has brought me. If they continue to knock down our courts for what might end up being a 'fad' then it would be completely ridiculous. Squash has been going for decades.

Squash is a fantastic game for young people. You should be encouraging it not trying to stop it

Stop targeting squash and removing courts for classes which could be held anywhere else. Squash clubs around the country are under extreme pressure and courts being removed constantly for ‘studios’. Remove the courts and the community will suffer.

Squash is one of the world's healthiest sports, Can't believe David Lloyd is considering closing courts to house yet another fad workout. DL promotes itself as a racket-sports centre. Not a jumping up and down on the spot with loud music centre.

Squash is a great game and should be encouraged by an organisation like David Lloyd. This sends the wrong message.

Everytime I've played squash there the tennis courts are empty. 'Blaze' one of those. Management probs don't appreciate the likes of me staying there late, after our team match, socialising as squash players' do, keeping them there.
