Very disappointing to hear squash courts could be closed to accommodate a bit part fitness that's barely known or established

Same thing happened to us at David Lloyd Milton Keynes, thought it was supposed to be a rackets club?

The loss of the courts will be a great loss to the squash players and to the sport of squash in general.

My parter and I were planning to join DL next month when we move to the area. The sole reason being for squash and the active squash scene that it currently has there. If there is only one squash court to remain we will not be joining.

A growing and well liked section. I fully support the retention of all squash courts.

I’ve been a David Lloyd member since 1997 and will be cancelling my vantage membership if you close squash courts

Disgraceful. To impose this on a fully functioning and successful squash club is intolerable.

Will cancel membership for seven people if the courts go Niall has generated so much business not only on the court but every Friday on the back of playing squash we all have family dinner at the club and drinks Plus Tuesday Thursday Friday from school I take my kids for squash coaching which then includes drinks and dinner before 6 when club isn’t that busy

Please don’t take our squash courts! The juniors here are players of the future. Keep kids active !!!

Awful decision to close the squash courts!! How can you call it the number one Racquet club by closing these courts and not even consult its members!!

Terrible News! Great bunch of guys at DL Gidea Park - would be a shame to see the courts and teams go!

Squash at David Lloyd Gidea Park is thriving, taking away the courts will cause a huge loss in membership and revenue of £50,000 or more, certainly a very poor display of judgement. Without consulting members shows a disregard for the community and the life blood of the club.

How arrogant that David Lloyd can't even be bothered to consult it's members!

Keep squash live

Going down to just 1 court will kill the squash community in that area. You need at least 2 courts to run team matches. 200 squash members is an extremely no of players to have at one club .

Disgraceful how DL have handled this proposal. No communication to members. Do they really understand the impact of this decision regarding losing members? I’m not sure....
