This will be a major loss to Essex squash and all the superb work being done by the resident coach to grow the sport

Good luck keeping your courts. DL don’t care about squash if that isn’t already obvious

The squash section at DL GP had never been stronger. We have a great coach, three Essex League teams and a thriving league system.
We have exhibition games from world class players and young players coming through. There is also a growing women’s section. The time is right to think about adding courts not closing them. This is could easily become a centre of excellence for Essex squash.
Please do your homework and look at what you have before you loose something very valuable.

David Lloyd should be ashamed these courts,are a necessity for squash players all over the country they charge enough as well for their use and should realise the potential as there ate magnificent players coming through

I realise everything is geared around profit, but we need to find ways to increase participation in Squash and not ckose down facilities. David Lloyd has always had fantastic facilities it would devastate the sport if they were to close.

Squash, as the healthiest sport in the world, should be encouraged by David Lloyd, not killed off, and especially as there is a thriving scene here already. Disgusting members are being sidelined and forced out.

A business decision made by single minded Accountants running sports clubs having proved mathematically that all existing and projected squash activity can be compressed into the remaining court (s) ... Accountants that are not passionate about competitive sports are a recipe for disaster and will result in characterless facilities. Please stop this.
