Squash as a sport deserve not only to survive as a sport but thrive, more's the pity it isn't in the Olympics.

David Lloyd are not consulting members at any clubs about removal of courts to make way for Blaze. No courts should be lost whether they are tennis, squash or badminton. Space should be found elsewhere for Blaze. We are losing a tennis court and the original badminton courts at Solihull Cranmore. Hope you manage to keep your squash courts.

Absolutely disgraceful decision from a company that treats its customers appallingly and has a total lack of customer service.

I’m a member at DL Cambridge and have just had news that both our 2 remaining courts (3rd was turned into a kids play area last year in club room refurb..)
I’m an ex full time squash player who has helped with coaching/training sessions at club over last few years. Good luck!

You market yourself as Europe's best racket sport club and then ditch the squash courts for a fad! What a joke you are David Lloyd!

As a qualified fitness instructor (NASM level 2) whom not only regularly uses the gym but is active almost daily for at least 2 hours in the gym or some form of sport or yoga I can confidently say that Squash is the best form of HITT training which is scientifically proven to be the best form of excercise. Why would you remove squash courts for a temporary surge of a new sport. Bonkers!

Forbes Magazine has previously quoted Squash as being the World's Healthiest Sport. Just because it doesn't bring in the higher per head revenues that other activities do in a similar square footage just look at the additional spend on food and beverage after they play - that's where the money is made, the social side of the sport is highly quantifiable!! Gym members and class attendees simply do not stick around for a drink and a bite to eat afterwards - Squash players do!!!
