This is no surprise. Mr Lloyd is motivated by money, not sport.

Need more squash courts in large gyms, our Gloucester David lloyd has none ! I know 100 members who would join DL Glos if it had courts, we are all playing racquetball! And loving it!

I am writing on behalf the Gell family who are regular users of the squash / racketball / tennis / courts and are completely devistated of the change to make a bigger gym area, that is what makes David Lloyd’s different from any other gym. Keep your identity and your long standing customers!

This is happening at our Club (Southend) too and will leave us with no squash courts at all, IN FAVOUR OF A FACILITY THAT IS DESCIGNED EXCLUSIVELY FOR PREMIUM RATE MEMBERS. Both courts due for demolishion 19th September. In our contracts we should be advised 3 months in advance to changes in facilities. BREACH OF CONTRACT - NO CONSULTATION AT ALL

Don’t close the courts, book them for Zumba, Yoga, Spinning, etc when not in use for Squash

Squash is a great sport for adults& kids alike #keep the courts but maybe put the price up or use a space elsewhere to add other facilities or share the courts with other sports

Getting rid of squash courts will only lose you the business of a very loyal and active community, especially one that is so successful. As the world's healthiest support promoting squash should be a top agenda of any fitness club or gym.

Any downgrade of squash facilities would greatly impact on what is a actively competitive sport, & be to the detriment of the sporting community

I am a squash player and a squash coach. Court's are a vital life blood to promote squash to the next generation! They are hard to get build and cost. To loose a court is a step to remove squash as a fantastic sport for everyone.
