Bought fish from here and they don't last long and it's not my aquarium as I have had fish init for 3 years from other places. Best thing they can do is shut this place down

i keep canaries and I am appalled at the conditions the birds are kept in . The moral of the staff is dire too . It doesn't take much to keep an animal clean and healthy . No excuses !!

animals here are miserable and living in poor conditions and every fish we have bought from here has been in poor health and has died

This needs more then folk signing ...a protest outside the shop with the newspapers. .. maybe that way people will hear us louder then the pen

I went not so long ago and never had a problem In there. My friend bought an iguana and can honestly say the staff was very useful and friendly. The fish tanks looked in an acceptable manner. Didn't see any dead fish and the turtles seemed very happy as long with the very expensive fish. Please keep it open my soon loves going as did I when I was three years old.

I visited the Bolton aquarium and I saw a very poorly budgie at the bottom of the cage,i called over to one of the staff to show them the poorly looking budgie and to my horror she picked it up and what I could see was a dustbins in the back and she just put it there and left it disgusting place

Smell of urine in rabbit/reptile/bird section took my breath away, i had to leave the room. Fish are often stuck in filters and dead ones are left in tanks. Not enough staff and definitely no knowledgeable staff available. Should have been investigated years ago.
