Daves Aquarium Bolton to be boycotted and closed down

I fully agree that annimals are not in the best of health, and have a terrible life in this place

I bought 5 guppie's and within a week 4 of them died and 10 of my other fish in the tank died. Filthy place. Vile. Shut the f****r's down.

I bought 3 guinea pigs for there and in the space of a couple of weeks one by one they've died

I agree rabbits with heat lamps then sell to someone who's going to put it outside in the cold!

Appalled that nothing has been done yet by the authorities to shut this place down !

daves aquarium is a poorly made company that needs shutting down.the anmals are imported and its not right, there treated badly and its unnaceptable.

Wanted to get some fish, but after reading these comments I don't want to give this shop my money.

Bought a hamster from daves aquarium , only had it 3 months realised it started to become very weak took it to the vets and she had a disease before we even got her! this place needs to be shut down

Bought a hamster from here had to have the poor little thing put to sleep. Due to having a disease.The vet asked were we bought it from and telephone number.poor poor animals don't let them suffer like this close this place down ASAP. !!!

Went here today after not going since being very young. The conditions shocked me. Couldn't walk around the animals due to smell. Never again. Went in for some tropical fish, wouldnt give yhem the satisfaction of my money

I recently bought a guinea pig from saves aquarium lasted all of 3 days The one I picked they offered it me for cheaper I got him home his poo was stringy h he wouldn't eat or drink he wasn't happy he barely even made a noise I began to read online about it Guinea pigs like to be in quite areas, stress free how can an animal be stress free when it has a blinding light other it and other a 100 birds surrounding that also sound very distressed I feel sorry for all the animals at daves aquarium and I wish I could take them all! I hope this petition gets other 1000 signatures then we can get this place closed! I've recently bought 2 more guinea pigs from pets at home 2 months on and they are happy and chatty just the way they should be!

Disgusting conditions of all live stock, animals in distress. Wish I could take every animal out of that place.

Ive never been in that place and ever found it to be anything than a run down mess. Those poor inmates!

I went in there recently and it stank to high heaven . There was dead fish in nearly every tank . The dry goods area is a tip and has loads of areas that have trip hazards and not signed posted. The bird area was a disgrace and the cages are far too small for the birds . I really don't see the point of the children's play area that is unsupervised. I would sack everyone that currently works there and get people that are going to care for the animals. As for the cafe , I wouldn't even buy a drink from it let alone eat something from there with all the filth and the smell , you could end up like their fish ... DEAD . To sum up I will never go again and it needs to be closed down for good !!!
