Daves Aquarium Bolton to be boycotted and closed down

Have not been and seen the conditions myself but if what I read is accurate and correct, then the place shoukd be closed down immediately. If the owner has been previously prosecuted and banned, then he should be so again and given the maximum penalty possible and no excuses accepted

place is a dump, once witnessed a parrot feeding on newspaper because there was no food in the cage

Dead fish on the pit side of its enclosure.

The living conditions for these animals are disgraceful! NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. Not fair on fish!

Terrible the way all the live products are treated !

All my fish including ones I had 10 years died after introducing fish from this place. Never will I shop there again.

Filthy place I don't know anything about fish but reptiles on the other hand is a different matter the place needs closing nothing with the reptiles is safe or right !!

Hi went last year to buy two ferret's. They are lazy people they had two ferret's in a plastic box the poor little thing couldn't stand up there was no grip on the floor .

Hideous place, dead fish in the tanks, also witnessed a dodgy deal with a customer wanting to sell a snake to Daves Aquarium, the whole store is so dirty and grotty

Myself and my family went there on SUnday 4th September and we were all appalled at the condition of the animals, particularly the poor single Meerkat that was inthe store frontage, these are group animals and the fish were in appalling condition - dreadful place - we were all very upset and left feeling we neede to do something to help

should be shut down,have not been for years because it was bad , and complained to staff because all the Kakariki parakeets were very ratty battered feathers,they told me its because they climb the cage, Itold them it wasnt as had two of them ,she walked away so i complained to trading standards as I didnt know what else to do. Iwas just seeing if the place was still in business and came across this, Ihope it works

Huge store, but all live small pets crammed into the tiniest room? So many birds all together chirping so disturbingly especially for all the other animals. Horrible

Untidy/Filthy place. Went to look at fish. Dirty tanks/Dead fish in lots of tanks. Horrible .

theres no excuse for the appalling conditions.. If this place looked after the animals and fish and did some cleaning surely it would be far more profit making... If he was in charge of Tropical World in Armley Leeds then he needs locking up as that was awful too

Needs to be shut down now before there is any more suffering!

Bought some fish less than 2 week ago they are now dead I already had one fish in the tank which I have had for 4 years never had no problems since adding the new fish from daves I noticed they started getting white spots and fins began rotting I bought some stuff to try and treat the fish but unfortunately it didn't work really wish i never went there it has been very upsetting please don't buy anything from there
