Daves Aquarium Bolton to be boycotted and closed down

Gone downhill massively for the last 20 yrs + Disgusting place to shop

Rats are not supposed to be kept on sawdust due to porpherin issues and respiratory infection and every time I go there I can't help but notice those poor things are kept on sawdust!! The place needs closing down for good the animals are kept in APPAULING conditions!!

Just cruel!

I don't like the smell. It's a very purple smell... like expired plums. I've never been to this place before, I'm just a very random individual.

every time i buy fish from there thay dont last long and die wont buy animals from there any more dont go there you might as well frow you mony down the drane

So many comments but no sign of the RSPCA - I went to buy an axolotl - I was told they were in aisle E .. water was illuminous green Im not sure if there was an axololt in there or not - looked like pea soup - I complained but was told it had only turned green overnight and it was being cleaned later that day !! Somehow think I was fobbed off

Conditions alone in there are terrible.

I have been in here & seen dead fish in the tanks, also there is nothing in the tanks but fish, no ornaments, plants etc & as for the lone Meercat living in the window, it beggars belief, where is the RSPCA?

Absolutely disgraceful, I went there on a family day out thinking it would be nice because we hadn't been there in ages. But no! Fish are in shocking conditions and I've spotted a de composing catfish! Disgusting!!!!
