Daves Aquarium Bolton to be boycotted and closed down

Sold one of my friends a poorly animal and then refused to take it back and now she's stuck with a animal she can't pay for to get better! Need to be shut down asap

Absolute vile place. So many poorly animals, left on their own, dirty homes, stinks, all animals full of contagious diseases. They don't care for the animals. It makes me angry and so upset that someone could do that to such defenceless animals!!! NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!! For some reason, no one cares!!! Disgraceful.

I bought a baby rabbit last night 30th April '17 she is visibly poorly with a respiratory infection (called the vet with her symptoms) bank holiday weekend all vets are on emergency, called up this morning they said return her for a full refund - I'm not returning her!! I enquired about her seeing a vet with her they blagged yeah she would be seen then changed the tune to the breeder! She needs medical attention asap!! No doubt they'll let her die or pts. £25 baby rabbit she's going to cost a utter fortune in vets fees apparently they aren't liable for! Had her since 4pm Sunday noticed a hour an a half later she was ill!!

Was going to have a ride over there today. But after reading the comments about the place l won't waste my time. It's a pity because when the place first opened many years ago I recall it wasn't too bad expect most of the staff are genuine animal lovers but perhaps there hands are tied john Haggerty

After the way the owner spoke to an employee whilst I was asking a question he doesn't deserve to run any kind of business

Having visited this place recently for the first time in over 20 years, I was appalled at how run down it has become. The atmosphere has a general vibe of neglect. The first thing that greets you is a shop window area containing a lone MEERKAT! What is that doing there? Cheap and nasty exploitation of a wild animal. The fish tanks are mucky and poorly kept. There is a parrot stuck in a tiny cage on the counter living in filth. Awful place.

I've been here it's a joke. Animal with out water stinks of damp. I bought a rabbit from here and had to take it to the vets as it wasn't well they just said bring it back and swap it like it was nothing. So they could sell it on. So I sent them the bill which they paid for. Won't go in there again it's a disgrace!!!!!!!!

We have just been here and thought the condition of the place was appalling there was a little bird sat in a small cage that just wanted attention and I asked of I could by him and they said no he is the managers bird also a MEERKAT in a display window at the front of a store this place should be shut down appalling
