I strongly oppose this property being rezoned to build a data center. My home will be right next to the data center, which is absolutely inappropriate for the children and families in Morley Corner and Farmwell Hunt. I bought my home for the family atmosphere in a residential part of town and don’t want a data center built next door. It’s harmful to the kids and will bring a lot of other negative issues to our communities. Ashburn and other nearby towns have plenty of room for data centers; a residential community is not the place! Do not rezone this land!

We have enough Data Centers in Ashburn. Waxpool cannot handle more traffic.

This is a residential neighborhood. There are plenty of other roads better suited for this type of structure.

The data center growth is out of control and certainly should not be right next to residence & schools!

Such a building is not welcome in our neighborhood. It changes the landscape of the Farmwell community, where it will no longer seem family- oriented and kid- friendly. In fact, had there been a data center or another such building in such close proximity to this community, we would not have moved here. No doubt future buyers would think similarly, such is undoubtedly bad for Farmwell Hunt home owners.

No more data centers in Ashburn, especially right in people’s back yards.

I am Farmwell Hunt resident since 2013 and I am strongly opposing building a data center in such close proximity of where our houses are. There are plenty of other places where that data center can be built without interrupting the way of life of the entire Farmwell Hunt residency. I am concerned about EMFs that will be emitted by the new data center. There's a dearth of scientific data assessing noise trends in and around data centers. The new data center trends are are bringing more equipment, and denser and hotter systems, into data centers. Absolutely not!

Too close to school and neighborhood and is taking away beautiful fields. There is enough space elsewhere

Data center shall not be built next to residential communities. Data center will be to close to residential communities and will create noise and pollution impacting residents health. No to mention is small area.

Respectfully request disapproval of the application to change zoning to build a data center.

I am a resident of Farmwell Hunt community and I absolutely oppose this rezoning. This will lower our home values which will ruin what is known as a great place to live. I'd prefer it be a playground for children.
I understand the tax benefits and prefer the data centers be much further away from residential communities (example: further down the Greenway near Sycolin Rd).

Data centers belong in industrial parks, not neighborhoods.

We have lived in Farmwell Hunt for 4 years and love it here. We moved to Ashburn because it’s a wonderful place to raise children. We strongly oppose this data center in our neighborhood. There are already so many in Ashburn and we don’t want the noise, pollution and sheer ugliness of another data center in our backyard. More parks please!

I STRONGLY oppose the rezoning of part of my community to make way for a data center!! Why, of all the available land in Loudoun County, do they want to build a data center in a residential area?! The reason is actually unimportant to me and my family. Ashburn earned a top spot as one of the best places to live for a reason. Please keep it that way. Another data center is welcome, but not in ANY residential area.

I am a resident of Farmwell Hunt community. We oppose this rezoning. If we allow playgrounds to be replaced with industrial buildings, where will the kids play. Are we going to teach kids right in the middle of these industrial buildings (think Discovery Elementary school). A school should be located in residential area. Over half of Discovery is already surrounded by commercial properties. I take the pledge to never again support any of the county supervisors that votes yes on this rezoning. If you vote No, you can count on my vote for you in every step of your Political career. Think long term if you truly want to support the County and call it your home. Loudoun county is number one in data centers. Rejecting this does not take our fame away. Approving this will take away our future generations.

I have been a resident of Farmwell Hunt for over 14 years (and a resident of Ashburn for over 20 years) and I strongly oppose the development of this data center adjacent to my community. The Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission should be ashamed of themselves for even considering rezoning this property to build yet another data center. If their vision for Ashburn is to change existing zoning laws within established residential communities in order to build more data centers then they need to be voted out of office!
