This tragedy struck my high school classmates and I, as we lost Alex plus 2 other classmates, in the crash and nearly lost a few more who had changes in plans. Putting this sculpture into a better venue for viewing and reflection by many would be quite an honor to the victims and their families. With the ties to SU, there seems no better place.

The grief we feel IS the same, amidst our differences and merits as much or more attention than other parts of the spectrum of emotion as it is the facet given the least permission to exist!

I'm a Lockerbie Scholar who flies out to start my journey in America tomorrow (Sunday 23rd August) and I for one couldn't be more up for seeing something so magnificent. Look Back, Act forward.
