I knew a person on that flight, she sang with her sisters for Christmas

I too was a student at the time and I have never forgotten my fellow college mates. God bless them and their families

I remember this installation from my childhood and would love to see it back on SU campus!

This is a sad and beautiful reminder of our global interconnectedness.

Good luck finding a permanent home for this beautiful, but sad reminder of the impact of terrorism on the loved ones of the victims.

I grew up in Syracuse, and this event hit all of us very hard. I was in middle school/high school at the time and the tragedy felt very close - I think of those families and students more often than I ever thought I would as 15 year old processing the news for the first time. As a mother this statue also hits home - and should be on SU's campus.

Dark Elegy is the most moving and thought provoking piece of art I have encountered. It is critical that this important work find a home at Syracuse as means of healing, remembering, and, to the extent that it is ever possible, understanding the impacts of terrorism.

Bring the sculpture to Syracuse Univ.
