I have been reading the stories you all are leaving in the comments and the reach of this has honestly left me speechless. It is clear that this is a concern for so many of us in Oshawa and I am just doing my best to make sure the right people see these concerns. Please know that your experiences are what keep me focused on the path ahead.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this effort since I first posted it. This momentum belongs entirely to you and your willingness to speak up for the safety of our city. It is truly humbling to see such a strong response to something I started on a whim.

KEEP OUR STREETS SAFE. ban them now before someone gets hurt
Not sure why anyone needs a novelty knife. Total liability.
too many issues with this lately. get them out of oshawa
what is this world coming to. stop selling weapons to just anyone
ridiculous that these are allowed to be sold. my teen has seen them in stores and it makes me sick

about time. why on earth are these things even in the shops near the mall. kids are buying this stuff and it creates nothing but trouble.
