I live 1,5 kms from the bridge and have a small Honda jazz. Never head towards possum creek Rd due to the conditions. Besides the fact that the road is dangerously degraded my car will be impacted as it is not made for constant potholes. Please upgrade before the work begins

This already-bad situation will become dire if and when the bridge closes. Friday Hut Rd is a disgrace and should be completely renovated and widened from one end to the other,

Possum Creek and Friday Hut Roads are in a dangerous state of disrepair. It is only a matter of time before a serious injury, serious property damage or death occurs, unless swift and comprehensive action is take to repair these roads.

We need to petition for the overgrown road near nursery that leads straight to common people brewery/bangalow industrial estate to be cleared for public use. This is a tiny stretch of unused road that will solve all our problems

As a resident of Pinemountain Rd the imminent closure of the bridge at Binna Burra is a frightening prospect.
The current state of Possum Creek Rd makes much of it a single lane road with numerous blind corners. I understand that road funding is limited but I wonder whether there has been any actual monitoring of traffic movements on this road in recent years. The number and nature of the vehicles using Possum Creek Rd have both seen a dramatic increase in size to the point where a serious accident is inevitable.
Every time I go to town or to access the highway I hope that I am not the unlucky one who meets an enormous 4WD, construction vehicle or inexperienced, city driver rounding the corner at speed.

A detour from Friday Hut road to Dudgeon’s lane would be great during the bridge closure

We are on Gittoes lane and I have small children. One of who has allergies that can result in anaphylaxis. If there is heavy rain and an ambulance can not get through due to possum creek causeway being under he would potentially die.

Please upgrade possum Creek rd and Friday hut rd. They both have unsafe edges, multiple times ‘repaired’ potholes and sections only safe for one-way traffic. I incurred a cracked wheel rim with a $700 repair bill in the last 6 months!!

These roads are just so dangerous particularly in dappled light because the many pot holes can’t be seen

As a daily driver of these roads travelling them safely, in their current state, requires great care and vigilance. It seems untenable to offer Possum Creek Road as a safe detour for major road works in its current state. This needs to be addressed first.

I have two small children and I will not drive them on Possum Creek Road, it's too dangerous. If work on the bridge must commence, please reopen Dudgeons Lane for a safer detour.

I completely agree. The road is incredibly dangerous even and it is a route I try to avoid where possible so the term closure of the bridge will only create more incidents, it must be fixed.

Prior to the detour and bridge repair can the detour roads be repaired so they are able to take the extra wear and tear thank you!
