I strongly urge that some means of traffic control be put in place at this intersection. I have witnessed and been in near misses as cars speed through the tunnel. Please don’t wait until a fatality or serious accident happens.

To be sure I am safe, I turn off radio, roll down window, and listen for doppler effect of sound of approaching cars from tunnel. Stop sign and light would be extremely helpful. Mirror was relatively useless, angled as it was. One slightly deaf neighbor had a nasty crash there, years ago.

I like the flashing light solution, and a mirror as well.. I think a stop sign may be overboard, and reduce gas mileage for residents.
