Science is for everyone, by anyone with the intelligence and passion to pursue their chosen subject. Minds matter.

How will we ever get past gender inequalities when the Daily Mail continuously misleads its readership with such journalism.

I am appalled by the ignorance displayed by this 'newspaper'. I am not a scientist but anyone with a brain should already have been aware that Maggie Aderin-Pocock speaks with authority in her scientific fields. So, who writes for the Daily Mail?

There are few things I loathe quite so much as the writing in the Daily Mail, whose writers remind us yet again that they haven't come anywhere since giving the Nazis their wholehearted support.

Casual sexism and racism is what I have come to expect from the Daily Mail. The paper claims vindication for its reprehensible behaviour from the relative success from its online popularity. However, most people that I know only read the online paper for a laugh. The Daily Mail has sacrificed moral credibility for cheap commercial gain. What a shame.

As usual, the Daily Mail brings disgrace on the UK's press.

The Mail has been a blight on social justice and equality for most of its shameful history. It's time to stand up against the abuses of power like this in the right-wing press.

My experience with UK and foreign academics both in UK posts and abroad has been very positive and most are awesome - both female and male

This gutter rag masquerading as a purveyor of "news" needs to be boycotted.

Well, for the Mail, it is questionable whether women should be permitted Higher Education....

The pity of it lies not just in the nature of the paper's comments but also their seeming inevitability. The future of a Farage-friendly press?

Yet another example of poor-quality journalism from the Daily Mail. Clear Fail with no opportunity to Repeat!

It is not just a matter of telling the Daily Mail to stop being the Daily Mail. There is no reason they should be allowed to get away with misrepresentation just because they are right-wing bigots.
