Today's papers have carried a news that 25% man daps in Thane are illegal,without permission or violating norms. What can be more justification for the petition than this ground reality?

Yesterday was the noisiest day in my life. Noise, dance and insensitivity to others all was nauseating. There is no chance of any change.

I want to leave Thane, but other place like Badalapur is also spoiled by these rabid politicians. I think I will have to go to south.

I agree. Leadership crises. Goondas and criminals are leading us. However, we are responsible for this crises. We have elected them. Total decay. I stay at Thane and next to me also there is a pendol which has occupied half the road. There is traffic jam since morning. No help from police.

Sad. There is some change in noise levels but needs radical reform. Leadership in Maharashtra is doing a great disservice. Unfortunately all parties are exhibiting the same insensitive. God only can help us.

मी डोंबिवलीला राहतो .
माझ्या घरा खाली मिरवणुकीचा ढोल २० मिनिटे वाजत होत.
माझी नात किंचाळून रडायला लागली.
माझ्या शेजारील आजोबांची धडधड वाढली आणि ते बिचारे दरवाजा बंद करून झोपून रहिले.
आजूबाजूचे कुत्रे बराचवेळ भुंकत रहिले.
गणपतीबाप्पा तू काही वर्ष येवू नकोसरे.
एके काळी महाराष्ट्रानी उत्तुंग नेतृत्व दिले. आता तुझ्या नावानी सणाचा जो शिमगा होतोय तो सहन होत नहिरे. नाहीतर या तीनपट राजकीय नेतृत्वाला तरी आवर घाल

आजच्या इ म टा. मधिल बातमी बोलकी आहे. कोणी काहिही बोला आम्ही बदलणार नाही. कानठळ्या बसणारा आवाज आणि हिडीस नाच हि या सणा मध्ये शिरलेली विकृती आहे.
हि कसली आली आहे संस्कृती?
पण हा आमचा मराठी बाणा आहे. आम्ही मोडू पण वाकणार नाही.
हे वाकणं नाही सुधारणा आहे.
मुर्खापुढे वाचली गीता, कालचा गोंधळ बरा होता अस कपाळाला हात लावून म्हणण्याची पाळी हि बातमी वाचून आली आहे।

Thane and Mumbai are worst affected and other cities are following them. Politicians have killed the devotional aspect of this festival. It is money making business for them.

Relatively it was quite today but many pendols are obstructing traffic. If that gets corrected, festival will be tolerable.

खरंतर, राज्यकर्ते व्यवस्थेचा वापर नेहमी अश्या पद्धतिने करतात की जनता सातत्याने गुंतुन राहावी व आपसात विचार विमर्शाला वावच नसावा!हाच गुरुमंत्र चाणक्याने अर्थशास्त्र मधे दिलेला आहे!सण,उत्सव,जलसा, व्यसनं,दंगे,युद्ध, मनोरंजन,धार्मिक अनुष्ठाने इत्यादि आयुधे आजही कारगर पणे वापरल्या जात आहेत!धर्म हे निती उपदेशा ऐवजी मनोरंजन व अंधविश्वासाचे व्यासपीठं झालेली आहेत!विवेकशीलतेने प्रश्न करण्याचे धाडस उरले नाही! धर्माच्या नावावर चंगळवादाचा उन्माद, तिरस्कारांची पेरणी,राजकीय स्वार्थ,अंधविश्वासांचे बीभत्स स्वरुप आपल्या आसपास सर्वच धर्मात दिसतं!वस्तुतः धर्मग्रंथा ऐवजी स्तुतिगाथा किंवा महाकाव्यांच्या काल्पनिक वर्णनांना व अनाकलनीय रुढी विधींना महत्व देऊन सोईस्कर पणे नितींना डावलल्या जात आहे! त्यामुळे या भोगवादी संस्कृतित सत्यम् वद धर्मम् चर, ची अपेक्षा कशी करायची,कारण धर्मग्रंथ वाचतील तरच धर्म कळेल!

Earlier orders of Courts were throw to dustbin. We have converted our judiciary into a joke. How dare these politicians construct their pendols? We have reduced our democracy to a mobocracy. There is no saign that we are changing. Festival hooliganism has changed hands, from Raashtravadi to BJP.
