The current DAA Baseball Board is considering changes to the Senior Baseball Program. The proposed changes will lower the age cut-off at 18 and will limit the number of "Freezes" at two. These changes will essentially kill our program. If you are in favor of keeping our program as it is now, with a age of 15 - 19 (No player can turn 20 during the season) and the Freezes at 7, please sign this petition and forward the link to other players. Note: Mill Creek plays under the set of rules we have used the past season. Two years ago the DAA Baseball Board limited our Freezes to two, we only had 20 players sign up. This fall we had 44 players sign up.

Updates

December 2, 2010

I have been hearing from so many families about how much this league means to them and it really makes me wonder why the board keeps trying to mess with a system that is clearly working for us right now. I am digging through some old files to prepare for our talk with the board members because if they saw the enrollment numbers from this fall they would stop these changes in their tracks.

My son loves playing here. Dont change the rules just to ruin it for the older boys. Keep it like it is please.

The numbers dont lie. We had 44 kids this past season because the program actually works for everyone. Why fix something that clearly isnt broken?
