I’d like to see time for these Carole Robertson policies and councillor accountability for meeting them. Starting now.

2 more things. Dacorum Council also need to start recycling its own waste. Instead of paying to send it overseas they need to invest in its own recycling plants.
To make a difference they need to do this by 2025. 2030 is too late

I was so shocked with the conditions when I went skiing in February caused by global warming and was very aware that if we don't all act now we may not be able to go skiing in most locations with in a few years. I believe we all have a responsibility to tackle global warming and it starts with small local communities. If we can change we can inspire other communities, then government and then other countries. I want to help reverse global warming and spread the message to wake everyone up. We have a global responsibility to do this. To love and care for our home, this beautiful planet.

If we want to reduce our impact on the environment, we need to actually do something about it. I am not sure it is feasible to manage this in 14 years, but that doesnt mean we shouldnt do what we can, and act as an example for others to follow.

I feel this is a very important issue, and one that we should do what we can to achieve.

It would be a great achievement if we can persuade DBC to sign up to zero carbon target by 2030.
The present government is back tracking on all their green commitments, so the people have to show them they want this to happen.

Please do this. By showing leadership in this area, Dacorum will actually secure prosperity for residents, through low-carbon jobs, energy security, low pollution and generally a first world environment. Go Dacorum, Go!

Could Hertfordshire set an example in this? Or even join with lots of other county councils to help fulfil our solemn promises at Paris in 2015?

Food production has not been mentioned in this petition, why? How can you be zero carbon and not mention the biggest cause of green house gases. A few allotments will not feed the Dacorum area. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlTBC91L-x0

The Proposed forum lighting is intended to be halogen lighting which is ineffective, expensive, and will be out dated within the life of the new build and will need to be replaced. The costs of installing LED lighting would be cost effective, future planning and on the target for carbon neutral, these measures should at this late stage promote the desires of the community and propel DBC on its journey to being carbon neutral
