Dear all, I know this is a very tough phase that we are all going through right now. I hope that everyone is well and safe. We are all a family, and as of that said families support and stick to each other when going through a tough phase. I would appreciate if DAA takes us “your family” into consideration by cutting the fees of term 3 by 50% . Most of us are losing our jobs and are not certain of what might happen next. It would be very sincere of DAA to take that consideration to heart. This is were trust is built for years along the line. Stay safe.

COVID-19 is a widespread occurrence of infectious virus/disease in the world that should not be used an excuse to fraudulent conduct or dishonest behavior. Obviously, on-line classes with teacher on standby to provide assistance or guidance to student is not the same as sitting in the classroom with more physical interaction with the teacher. For that reason, online class or called outside the wall learning is most likely not effective learning specially for younger kids. On the other hand, on-line class or outside the wall learning should be less cost and efficiently cheaper. Furthermore, parents will provide more time to help, guide and possibly be over to shoulder in making sure his or her children are studying or doing what exactly required on a particular subject. In short, parenting will be busy than usual. I’m for 40-50% discounts specially on this time of difficulties that most families are in needs of extra financial. Most of us are helping our relative family in other location that in needs of financial assistance because of this epidemic. DAA should be ready on this situation or should ask assistance to local authority for grant loans or other financial assistance. “Not to burden in the parents in time crisis”.

In the tough time across the world, we as parents hope that Gems Education could give parents tuition fee discount to help parents go through the difficult time

Distancing learning is good but not good enough, isn’t it? The fact is Parents have to spend lots of time accompanying children at the moment. Less income for parents for sure. We understand schools’s effort but not the explanation.

DAA should follow up the reduction fee, nobody can’t keep out of the affair

Horizon schools，Dubai English Speaking school，they all reduce. But Gems’s reply is really perfunctory.

Totally agree with salary for teacher. They are doing really well. But I think tuition is not the same at home.

We are one of the largest holiday homes companies called Gallery Suites in dubai with substantial assets under management., our occupancy have gone done considerably and we are giving a 3 month waiver on rent to all our tenants. We would appreciate DAA to consider if not a complete waiver for the last term fees., a minimum reduction of 50% to assist

Hope the school understands our point of view and being a parent how difficult the situation will be in the coming months.
