We, the undersigned students and members of the Southwestern Law School community, respectfully request that District Attorney Nathan Hochman be invited to speak at our institution.

Last year, our community had the privilege of hearing from District Attorney George Gascón. His visit provided valuable insight into his perspectives and policies. In the spirit of fostering balanced discourse and critical thinking, we believe it is equally important to hear from a leader with differing views and approaches to the administration of justice.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman’s distinguished career and principled leadership offer a unique opportunity to explore diverse viewpoints on issues of public safety, justice reform, and ethical advocacy. Hosting DA Hochman as a guest speaker would further enrich the academic and professional development of Southwestern Law School students by promoting dialogue on the multifaceted challenges facing our legal system.

By inviting DA Hochman to speak, we aim to uphold our institution's commitment to intellectual diversity, informed discussion, and robust legal education.

We respectfully urge the administration to extend an invitation to DA Nathan Hochman, ensuring our community has access to a broad spectrum of ideas and experiences.
