Crimes against our children are the worst kind of crime. No back room deal should be made just because of who is family is. We must send a message to the perpetrator & everyone that this is unacceptable

It has been proven time and time agains that there is no rehabilitating those who commit crimes against children. I ask that this man receive a fair trail but also a trail that asks for the maximum possible charges and penalties. Since he allegedly threatened the girl with "keep quiet or you will never see your mother again" you can easily throw attempted murder on the charges as well.

Those who commit these types of crimes are stealing the future of our country - they take innocence and transform it into fear. Born from entitlement, this individual does not need to be coddled - he does not deserve special treatment - he does not deserve any lienency. Please seek the maximum charges and penalties against Jack Doshay. For the safety of the Solana Beach community and all the other communities that this preditor has touched.

Your point is well taken. I don't think Mr. Doshay's father will be keeping his minority interest in the San Diego Padres very long. They'll want to protect the franchise; this case will hang over the ball club like an immovable hurricane.
Because of the other collateral issues involved, who Doshay's parents are actually makes things MORE difficult for him.
