A common comment/wish/demand has been that residents would love to have a grocery store such as Aldi's or Trader Joe's in this location. This would be something that the neighborhood both needs and would support. In addition, the strategic location of being within blocks of the entrance/exit ramps of both the 5 and 110 freeways would provide plenty of shoppers to and from their commutes.

We need a store for our community an there are senior citizens that don’t have transportation
Developer has also mentioned Vallarta’s, which would be awesome, though probably requiring more square footage that possible in the Big Saver space. Thanks Meike for raising this issue again as time is running out.

Lot across from this location next to IHOP is now for lease. Maybe they can build a market on that corner from scratch if Big Saver building is the wrong size?
TJ’s will say no. Aldi’s or Northgate possibly.
Please consider a Trader Joe’s, Aldi, Or another good chain grocery store in this location. The neighborhood is sorely lacking a store like this!!

Having a grocery store would be indeed perfect for commuters and any people who live in the neighborhood; we always cross these streets by car from the 110 or riverside or even from Lincoln metro station. Quality products but still affordable for every one living here.
