Just like the first drug television ad to list side effects and be brutally honest about the drug they were pushing, it was a risk from a business standpoint, but now it is standard practice, so it worked to the drug companies advantage in the long run, and probably saved a lot of lives. Trust the consumer to make informed decisions for themselves and PLEASE make more information available, particularly when it comes to withdrawl symptoms.... Transparency could save lives, and if you are in the business even with the littlest sliver of intent on trying to help people, (which I know a lot of the researchers are at least), I beg you please put more information out there. The withdrawl for me, someone who has been on many prescriptions throughout many years and tapered responsibly with doctor supervision, has been severe enough to make me want to give up completely (suicide separate from my mental struggles). I'm guessing a bed of money is nice to rest on, but when the weight of millions of lives/suffering begins to close in, you would rather take the cold hard truth. Please make more information available- I know you mean well! Thank You!

Incredibly irresponsible of Eli Lilly to issue this drug, knowing that it is so dangerous to a statistically large portion of patients!!!

10 weeks after following my drs. advice on tapering (I was only on it for 2 mths)...I am still suffering horrible withdrawal!

How about disclosing that Zyprexa is addictive and also has a withdrawal syndrome and not to prescribe it off label! Do the right things. This drug ius not suitable for people with a brain injury nor a learning disability.

Cymbalta almost killed me. Shame on drug companies!

Hey, not only should Eli Lilly disclose withdrawal but they need to work with professionals to put resources to investigate withdrawal and help people get off their useless drugs.
Furthermore, they should have a conscience of providing free drugs for the people they botched their lives, work, relationships, health, etc to be able to withdraw from the drug without spending a fortune on the drug...
That would be a nice legislation guys...
Christina Gemar
It should be banned!
Heidi Brenneman
So much damage! The number of signatures tells the truth about this drug! At the time of my signing, there were 62,329 signatures! Time for Eli Lilly to come clean! And while they're at it, they can start dispensing doses to allow safe tapers from their poison!
Julie Drake
I had horrible neuropathy like pain in both feet on Cymbalta..... As I tapered off so did the pain. After the last dose I could walk pain free again! But withdrawal is hell..... Has been 18 mos and still have anxiety and horrible brain fog
Melynda Roberts
Eli Lilly you need to own up to the falsified data on the clinical trials.
The American public has been lied to pertaining to cymbalta.
More than 70% experience severe discontinuation syndrome. Side affects from brain zaps, severe fatigue, nausea, insomnia, weigh gain, facial muscle twitches, severe joint pain, fever, migraines, urinary issues, and many more.
The Responsible thing to do is create a package that is a 2.5-5% mg drop in dosage for use.
Patients should NOT have to be educating their doctors about how to do the "bead removal" method to safely taper off if this drug.
Current patients and survivors can find proven research and instructions in how to safely taper off on the Facebook group Cymbalta Hurts Worse .... And cymbalta DOES hurt worse.
I have lost the last 19 months of my life And honestly do not think I will ever be "me" again.
Eli Lilly please so the right thing by the patients and be happy with the money you have already made.... Be human and help these victims safely get off of this poison.
margaret babcock
you used us as guinea pigs..fess up!!

I am 4 and 1/2 months into the withdrawal process. The worst symptom has been horrific pain, swelling. Several weeks of that time, when I did walk, I had to drag my left leg. Numerous more symptoms, including 4 hour brain fireworks, couldn't walk a straight line, something kept throwing my body to the right. Horrific brain fog, blurred vision, nightmares, night sweats making sheets totally wet. Horrible problems with hearing loss and pain in ears. I would love to be part of a class action suit.
Patricia Inskeep
This poison has had a debilitating effect on my body - not just by withdrawal, but also when the meds were increased. I have been disabled for almost a year due to the damaging side effects, and am praying once I've gradually weaned myself off completely, the damage can be reversed.
Pam Wilson
Eli Lilly, This poison was prescribed to me in 2004 and again when it was approved by the FDA for Fibromyalgia. I have been taking this continuously, every day for the last 10 years. It had ruined my life and my body and became disabled in 2003 because of it. It ruined my life. I'm so glad I found the Facebook group "Cymbalta Hurts Worse" Where I learned the truth about this poison and why I could never get off of it before and what damage it has cause me. They have taught me how to safely taper off it. Though I am slowly tapering off it at 2% weekly decreases, I still have withdrawal symptoms. I have had migraines, urinary issues, severe joint pain, severe fatigue, facial muscle twitches, Body wide muscle twitches, Eye twitches and vision problems, dry eye, insomnia, Brain and body zaps, even while taking the full dose, nausea, vertigo, lost of balance and falls, bone loss (osteoporosis) at first constipation and weight gain, recently diarrhea and severe weight loss. I have lost family, friends, my career, an my old self because of this poison. You have made billions of dollars at the expense of millions of innocent lives. The least you can do is include the proper warnings and help victims who trusted in your false claims about Cymbalta, to know how to taper off slowly and deliberately at no more than 1-10% decreases once they have stabilized from the prior decrease. To minimize the very dangerous withdrawal symptoms. This poisonous should taken off the market NOW and banned all together! However, Ely Lily should provide, at no charge, the necessary amount of the pills to safely wean off of and not run out before they safely complete their taper.
kathy tracy

Doctor Florian Thomas provided me with 30 days worth of "samples"I took for three weeks and decided it poison.

I suffered from the withdrawal symptoms personally. Terrifying!!!
Dorene Billot
I was taking Cymbalta for Fibromyalgia. I had to stop taking it because of the side effects. I had horrible reactions to quitting Cymbalta. My physician had to wean me off in small doses, so that I could tolerate the withdrawal process.
Laura N
I have been on Cymbalta for 4 years now and have tried numerous times to come off the lowest dose of 30mg. Despite the instructions on the Cymbalta website that say not to break the capsule I have been doing this and taking half of the capsule every other day. Even doing this, I have experienced brain zaps along with extreme mood swings of anger which I have never even had when I had depression! If I could go back in time I would refuse to be prescribed this drug. More information is needed for doctors and patients on withdrawal symptoms.
Chantelle Medosevic
I would never started this drug if I knew of these withdrawal symptoms
Shannon Fisher
I was on this too...it was awful!!
Jenny Johnson
I took it for nerve pain and had to switch to a different medication. Weaning off this drug was a nightmare. You would have thought I was trying to get off heroin (not that I know what that would feel like) but I had migraines, nausea, body aches, etc.. It was 2 weeks of hell. No one should ever take this medication!
Alexandria Zmiewsky
I went through horrible horrible withdrawal from this medication. It was a nightmare. The electric shocks in my head and the dizziness and nausea lasted for weeks.
karen chaisson
i was given cymbalta in 2000 after being diagnioused with fibro. 2 years ago, my insurance, mainecare said i had to take the genertic brand. okay i did and i just didn't feel right so i said maybe it is the synthectic added to th eg-brand. after the doc finialy agreed and got me back on reg. cymbalta. Now i am wondering if it was the withdrawals and not the g-brand....very intersting
Bonnie Gaskins
Please make the public aware of the withdrawal issues. I have suffered and did not realize what was wrong with me. It was withdrawal symptoms.
Genevieve Fisher Dawson
I suffered from SEVERE WITHDRAWALS while trying to come of the starter dose of Cymbalta. Those symptoms including seizures, dizziness, nausea, migraines, sweating, falling spells, etc...led to extremely limited mobilization. My experience was so bad that I could not work, drive, and having to have live-in help to take care of myself! CYMBALTA SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR ANY MEDICAL CONDITION!
Julie March
I have not been able to wean off of it because of the unbearable brain "zap" feeling , dizziness, nausea, and passing out. I would not have started taking it if I had known.
Katrina Topps
Please don't let anyone else go through what I am going through. The withdrawal is pure hell. My doctor has/had no idea.
Steven Borg
I am in the 3rd week of transitioning from Cymbalta to a different medication - and right not I am angry as hell at Eli Lilly!! I was NEVER warned by my doctor or pharmacist that coming off of Cymbalta is worse than any depression, mental instability, anxiety, physical pain and ANGER I've ever experienced before - the very symptoms this drug was supposed to, but never really was, effective at treating. The withdrawals are hell, and as a Pharmacy Technician in Utah, I would use my "Religious Liberty" rights to deny filling ANY more prescriptions of this life destroying toxin!! And the withdrawals aren't even the worse part of this poison!! As I'm barely beginning to feel the effects of my new medications - which (while not minimizing the brain zaps, mood swings, irritability, nausea, etc. - I feel like the new drug is giving me little glimpses of reality, and almost feels like an awakening from a decade of feeling like a hopeless, foggy-headed, isolated, depressed, broken lethargic loser!! And you would think that this awakening and potential to gain my life back would feel great!! But instead I am SO ANGRY that for all these years I thought I WAS THE PROBLEM! I thought I WAS BROKEN - and that paying for this expensive drug was the only thing helping me to keep going - but it WASN'T!! IT - CYMBALTA - WAS THE PROBLEM!!! And I'm so angry that is was Eli Lilly's toxic "antidepressant" that robbed me of all those years!!! It was supposed to help me, but instead it stole amost 1/3 of my life from me! I was robbed of my ability to continue my incredible path of success I was attaining in my dream job. I got on Cymbalta to help me continue on that path, but it didn't!! It robbed me of my ability to think clearly and have the stamina for work and relationships!! And now I'm terribly sick from the withdrawals!! But Eli Lilly is damn lucky this other medication is giving me hope, because I had told my doctor, that if things didn't change soon, I was done!!! And now that I

Most people would not agree to take Cymbalta if they were aware of the withdrawal symptoms.

I don't think I'm going to survive getting off cymbalta. I'm looking for new doctor that's willing to help me because my doctor thinks I'm crazy. I was on 60mg once a day and forgot to bring my pills while I was out of town. I called my doctor who couldn't help. I called the pharmacy and thought I was going to fire they say you can't stop taking suddenly go home to get your pills and only take your dose not more. Well I had to leave early and go home but by that time I had every symptom mentioned and then some I couldn't eat because it felt like my esophagus was fluttering and stomach heart lungs. I called the pharmacy again because my doctor wasn't believing me and they said they completely understood and it would be up to 7 days before I felt 100% Well I was on them 2 full days and took my 3rd dose before work but my face was twitching do bad and the brain zaps were no joke. If you haven't had cymbalta withdrawn you couldn't even begin to understand. At work I kept getting so dizzy I had to stop and lean on a wall with my eyes closed holding my head and well that got the attention of a nosey Nancy. She's like what's wrong I didn't want to share my business but had no choice. I told her a short version and she gave me this look like she didn't quite believe me. At break time she comes up to me and says are you ok I said yes I'll survive she laughs and sat next to me. She whispers in my ear what are you on. Well that's when the rage part of the withdraw started to appear. I was calm at first and said seriously nothing that's the problem I didn't take my pill for 6 days and only been back on for 3. She didn't believe me! I got up and went outside. She comes out I'm standing with my eyes closed praying to good for help I can't loose my job and had just used all my time off so had no choice but to be there. She says see your nodding off what are you on. Instant rage hit I screamed at her I swore I said f$^&#$% nothing I'm fine leave me the blank alone. And went to t

As someone given this medicine as a child and never told about the debilitating consequences of discontinuing the drug, I truly believe eli Lilly should invest in those millions of dollars creating a safe way to come off the drug .

How was I even put on this medication given the history. I am in terrible withdrawals with vertigo, shortness of breath, brain zaps, muscle and body aches. The list goes on and on. I am trying desperately to get off this medication, but it is torment. My quality of life is greatly diminished and it is impacting my attendance at work, not to mention my relationships.
Linda Chapman
After being on 30mg/day of Cymbalta for the past 2 years for my fibromyalgia, I decided it was time to go off of it and started decreasing the dose by 10mg/day each month. I have never been so sick in my life -- dizziness so severe that I have to hang onto the walls just to get to the bathroom, constant diarhhea and dry heaves, a sudden, large weight loss that has rendered me virtually with no energy or strength at all and severe headaches that make the nausea and dizziness even worse. I have become virtually UNfunctioning as a human being and can't even take a shower without using a folding chair to sit down on for fear of falling. My social life is now non-existent and I have a lot of difficulty concentrating on any task at hand.

I was prescribed Cymbalta for fibro- it didn't do anything for my pain, side effects were awful. The withdrawl was awful, lasted a long time. This drug should be taken off market.

Been off cymbalta now for 7 days and this has been the worst day yet. Dr's need to be informed about the withdrawls so they can tell their patients. I recently was weaned off a opioid and it was an eaiser withdrawl than this stuff. Just wonder when I will start feeling better after quitting this horrible drug.

I've been on Cymbalta for at least 10 years and I'm so upset that I can't just go off of it and on to something else that doesn't have, "brain zaps, suicidal thoughts, nausea, headaches, diarrhea and nerves that shoot thru my body when I miss a dose!" The problem here is that it's not working anymore and I don't want to take it. How do I do this, not only that, my insurance doesn't cover it, even the generic, so non-formulary costs $80, why would I pay that for something that is doing me NO GOOD!!
Debbie Dean
I have been on cymbalta for over 10 years and if I miss one the pain of brain Zaps and diarrhea, craps, sweats and light headed ness is aweful . I only recently asked to try something else to be told you can't just stop it I'm disscusted I was not told I would gain 30kg and would be stuck on this drug making my life worse than it was when I started it

Have taken both Lyrica and Cymbalta and was NEVER made aware of any withdrawal symptoms. Terrible how anti-depressants can literally make you depressed and suicidal while suffering with incredible electric shocks to the brain and nerves in extremeties. Unbelievable what i had to go thru to get off these meds...and what my family had to deal with and i'm an RN...just UNBELIEVABLE!

I cannot stop sweating. I feel like I'm about to faint continually for days with these pulses all over my body especially in my hands, feet, and chest. I have had a hard time driving because I keep squinting my eyes and it makes me queasy to look side to side. Something feels very wrong inside of me and I'm scared it won't stop,
Ann Weissmueller
I have just recently tapered off Cymbalta 120mg per day for depression and arthritis pain. Had no idea the hell I would face as my life has been turned upside down and I am now wracked with worse pain than before. Thank God my husband is a saint because I'm sure another man would have left me.
Marcia J Mildon
Make all information about Cymbalta public!
Kathy Emery
My doctor had me on it for depression. She wanted to switch me to other meds. She told me to just stop taking it. I went thru actual withdrawal like an addict would. Cold sweats, headache, throwing up, shakes, nausea, aches. I suffered for two days. Finally called the doctor. She said if I couldn't wait it out to go back on them & titrate down until I came off of it.
This was well over a decade ago. If I had known then what I do now I would have sued her for malpractice & talked to an attorney about the manufacturer.

Cymbalta needs to be taken off the market. I am stuck on this drug due to the severe withdrawals. Eli Lilly needs to pay each and every person for withdrawals they are going through and I am not talking small money. You have no way of tapering off of this drug safely. Pay for our rehab or health care due to the withdrawals. Never would of taken this med if I would of known about the withdrawals.

I lived in hell when ripped off Cymbalta from a psychiatrist! Nightmares in which I couldn't discern whether I was asleep or still awake. I shook and trembled like I had Parkinson's Disease which is no joke! Brain Zaps constantly. I'm still experiencing headaches and it's been three weeks. I have been on Cymbalta since February 2011, it all started with a post surgery anxiety. The treatment should have been for a period of not more than 18 months. however, the doctor kept me on Cymbalta. I have met another doctor who is helping me to combat the withdrawal symptoms viz. shivering, mood swing, anxiety, heavy heart beat, nervousness, imbalance when standing etc etc to top it with migraine. Since last month, the daily dose has improved to alternate days. however, I am finding it very difficult to stretch it further, I am told to take 1/2 of Rivotril (0.50 mg). hopefully, this will help me to stretch it further. despite so many people experiencing withdrawal symptoms, what surprises is FDA, USA is still not stopping from sale of this medicine. Mankind needs cure, but, not a situation where you go from frying pan to fire. I fully endorse my support to this cause, wherein we will very soon see that FDA USA puts a ban on sale of CYMBALTA. AMEN

I can't even begin to list how bad this drug has affected me in the 5 yrs I was on it and the effects, that remain in the 9 mos I have been off it .. soo sick I can't function.. my husband says I am a she'll of the person he married .. wishes he had me back . But its,out of my hands .. these drs, have no idea, what they are doing to us with this drug .. I complained of effects they swear it wasn't the drug .. funny how most are subsiding now I am off this drug .. I wish I never heard of this drug .. I hope it is taken off the market .. it is poision ..
It should be banned!
So much damage! The number of signatures tells the truth about this drug! At the time of my signing, there were 62,329 signatures! Time for Eli Lilly to come clean! And while they're at it, they can start dispensing doses to allow safe tapers from their poison!
I had horrible neuropathy like pain in both feet on Cymbalta..... As I tapered off so did the pain. After the last dose I could walk pain free again! But withdrawal is hell..... Has been 18 mos and still have anxiety and horrible brain fog
Be human and help these victims safely get off of this poison.
you used us as guinea pigs..fess up!!
This poison has had a debilitating effect on my body - not just by withdrawal, but also when the meds were increased. I have been disabled for almost a year due to the damaging side effects, and am praying once I've gradually weaned myself off completely, the damage can be reversed.
However, Ely Lily should provide, at no charge, the necessary amount of the pills to safely wean off of and not run out before they safely complete their taper.
did not help pain made it worse nausea dizzyness joint pain just a disgrace
Doctor Florian Thomas provided me with 30 days worth of "samples"I took for three weeks and decided it poison. I taperedoff.
a terrible drug to get off of. Good grief.
I suffered from the withdrawal symptoms personally. Terrifying!!!
I was taking Cymbalta for Fibromyalgia. I had to stop taking it because of the side effects. I had horrible reactions to quitting Cymbalta. My physician had to wean me off in small doses, so that I could tolerate the withdrawal process.
I would never started this drug if I knew of these withdrawal symptoms
I was on this too...it was awful!!
I went through horrible horrible withdrawal from this medication. It was a nightmare. The electric shocks in my head and the dizziness and nausea lasted for weeks.
i was given cymbalta in 2000 after being diagnioused with fibro.
Please make the public aware of the withdrawal issues. I have suffered and did not realize what was wrong with me. It was withdrawal symptoms.
I have not been able to wean off of it because of the unbearable brain "zap" feeling , dizziness, nausea, and passing out. I would not have started taking it if I had known.
Please don't let anyone else go through what I am going through. The withdrawal is pure hell. My doctor has/had no idea.
And now that I
Feel horrible.
And went to t
jai perdu la memoire a cause du cymbalta 60 mg trop prolongee et d un sevrage non surveille. S il vous plait retirez du marche ce psychotrope
The side effects are horrible. They came in gradually & took Internet search to discover the problem was this 'very bad drug' please warn the public appropriately
It's 2016! Patients are still not being informed about the very serious withdrawal symptoms of Cymbalta. My 18yo is going through hell right now. BEWARE: Cymbalta is dangerous.
As a company who sells a drug to make people feel better it is your responsibility to be transparent
I was prescribed Cymbalta for fibro- it didn't do anything for my pain, side effects were awful. The withdrawl was awful, lasted a long time. This drug should be taken off market.
Side effects are awful!
I am currently on day 3 of my hell since stopping cymbalta
I have been on cymbalta for over 10 years and if I miss one the pain of brain Zaps and diarrhea, craps, sweats and light headed ness is aweful . I only recently asked to try something else to be told you can't just stop it I'm disscusted I was not told I would gain 30kg and would be stuck on this drug making my life worse than it was when I started it Help us get some relief from this miracle drug for fibromyalgia What a joke
This drug debilitated me after disconnecting. My son was sent to a foster home temporarily so that I could seek hospital setting help! Please make people aware. It was the WORST 10 months of my life.
This drug has severe side effects and horrendous withdrawal symptoms. It should not be in use.
I'm a patient also that's been tricked
This is my life in a nut shell after coming off Cymbalta. I cannot work, hate to leave my house and feel like dying.
Horrible drug (not medicine). Severe withdrawels. Brainzaps, nausea, flusymptoms, depression etc etc. Needs to be taken off the market asap
Bad drug, horrible side effects while taking it & withdrawl worse than coming off of Fentanyl patch.
I guess I'll be on this nightmare train called Cymbalta forever because trying to stop is by far the worse thing for me.Sad thing,it doesn't work anymore!
My Mom died due to this dangerous drug. People need to be informed.
I recently Stopped taking 90 mg of Cymbalta a day.(tapered off myself 1 week at a time) I was having bad muscle spasms at the same time getting Injections in my back for inflammation around the Nerves. Trying to not be Addicted to anything. So much for that ... I was having more & more Bad Day's.I'm on Lyrica,Celebrex,Tremadol, Amitriptyline, Baclofen,Valium, & other Medicines for high blood pressure, estradiol, high cholesterol 2 pills for that. I've been hit in 5 different car wrecks, from 1988-2003. I would Especially would like to see the FDA release Any & All Information about CYMBALTA...
Doctor took me off Cymbalta 60 mg bid and put me on Fetzima. Within a week I was suffering severe withdrawal and finally realized it was from stopping Cymbalta.
I was on Cymbal 60 mg for around 5 years . Back around 4 years ago. I had bad withdrawals symptoms that I was not aware that I would have such bad issues with stopping it.
I cannot stop sweating. I feel like I'm about to faint continually for days with these pulses all over my body especially in my hands, feet, and chest. I have had a hard time driving because I keep squinting my eyes and it makes me queasy to look side to side. Something feels very wrong inside of me and I'm scared it won't stop,
I have just recently tapered off Cymbalta 120mg per day for depression and arthritis pain. Had no idea the hell I would face as my life has been turned upside down and I am now wracked with worse pain than before. Thank God my husband is a saint because I'm sure another man would have left me.
Make all information about Cymbalta public!
This horrible evil drug should have never been approved!!
Failure to inform a patient should be criminal. Life is once and no one should be able to steal your moments.
This is the most dangerous drug to ever come off of. I tried twice and almost committed suicide. Homicide was always in the back of my mind. I was reaching a point of no return.
this drug gave me tachacardia after 3 days, the Doctor didn't believe it was the drug and now i am in serious withdrawal mode my life is a living hell. stop this drug
I’ve used duloxetine for 8 months now. Told I can stop when I feel better and use again when needed. It’s been hell. Once you start how do you quit?
Cymbalta needs to be taken off the market. I am stuck on this drug due to the severe withdrawals. Eli Lilly needs to pay each and every person for withdrawals they are going through and I am not talking small money. You have no way of tapering off of this drug safely. Pay for our rehab or health care due to the withdrawals. Never would of taken this med if I would of known about the withdrawals.
It’s been 2 years since my painful withdrawal off Cymbalta and I still experience some of the symptoms.
Crippling withdrawal effects. Trying desperately to get off of this drug. PLEASE take this drug off the market!!!!!!!!!!
I permanently have severe neuropathy from this drug. I know have to use a walker and can barely write my name.
I was on this drug for about 2 months until I had an allergic reaction and had to get of it. I suffered for many weeks trying to get off this drug.
Please include me in the petition to have Cymbalta taken off the market. I am a victim of the evil withdrawals from being on Cymbalta for over two years.
I wasnt told and I would of never started the medication if i knew. It barely helps my pain and now my body is hooked. my fibro pain is bad enough! I cant handle withdraw on top of it.
This drug is a bad drug and can produce life changing side effects. I have just stopped using after 3 years, and will consider suing Eli Liley if they continue
I want to be a Plaintiff in the lawsuit. I have grounds.
I have tried twice to get off of Cymbalta with no success. Still taking the drug and I’m feeling awful.
Withdrawal from cymbalta has left me almost completely non functional for the last 6weeks
Cymabalta/duloxetine has destroyed the past 15 years of my life. I have tried to withdraw from this drug numerous times and failed. The withdrawl problems for me are horrendous especially nightmares and fatigue. I am still taking this horrible medication.
How much damage does this drug have to do, before Eli Lilly will do the right thing!
Cymbalta is a mind control drug. It's a carousel ride that you can't get off.
shoes
Do the right thing
I'm doing this for Katie.
I have to take 1/2 an anxiety medication daily - once in the morning when I wake up and once at night when I go to sleep to keep my pulse down and having panic attacks.
Brain zaps...zombie like....and even think about considering the future. worst withdrawals ever even after taper
AMEN
This drug has destroyed my life.

Absolutely, I've been on 60 & 30 mg over 9 yrs & till Now didn't know What was happening! Extreme exhaustion, unable 2 function, afraid 2 drive as b4 a in So foggy, dizzy, lite headed, mouth sores & lost Alot of muscle tone due 2 inactivity. I'm weaning off on my own but Now know this will take lots of time w/dosage I've been on. Any suggestions? I've been taking a 60 every couple days then a 30 but Please give some advice!
If I knew the withdraw on trying to get off of Cymbalta i would have NEVER started taking it. Make this aware in LARGE print in the warnings.
I was on Cymbalta for over five years, wiht varying dosages from 30-90mg. I was tapered off of it two years ago and, while doing so gradually under a physican's plan, I encountered severe withdrawal. Panic attacks (more like terror attacks). I could not think clearly. I ended up in psych ER. Thank GOD I am no longer on it and never again will take it.
Thank you for sharing your story. I'm taking a generic version and have been for years. Not really sure as I seem to be in a fog when it comes to the concept of time. I have gone 2 to 4 days without the drug and thought I was losing my mind. Mental illness is scary enough without the supposed medications making our life hell.
I have been on Cymbalta for several years at 60 mg to deal with supposed side reactions to etodolac, an arthritis med. I was cut back to 30mg by my arth. dr. and have had severe leg cramps and fingers closing up, which I NEVER had before. HELP! Thanks for doing this petition!
