to STOP Cycle Path Across Cossington Park - Belgrave Leicester

Really annoyed council has not taken local peoples’ views

I dont think there is a need for a path through the recreation ground. as there is a path around it... Will interfere with people playing football etc

Community Consultation is imperative-

Totally unnecessary intrusion on the lives of so many who enjoy the playing area for cricket,football,etc. and need open space without an obstruction going right thru the middle. Stop it!

Please think really carefully of the impact of your decision on the local community that really need and use this space. Communities need these green spaces.

This area so important for residents of belgrave. Use the path surrounding it.

Please hold meetings where the public are able to have their rightful say and come to a mutual agreement about decisions within the area They live.

No need for a cycle path, the pavements are being made wider so plenty of room

I have played football and cricket for most of my life.

looking at the plans this seen a ridiculous idea, why not just extend the original path

Please don’t do this the park is used by elderly for walking children playing and summer it’s packed it’s only access for the local old residents

There is no need for a cycle lane to be put across the park there are elderly people who visit the park.

I grew up playing football here, I want to preserve this area as a sports facility for the younger generation.

Which muppet is making this decision!! ThIs is a ludicrous idea & will massively impact the regular users. This park has limit space at present for local residents!! Please look into this issue from outside your “Ivory Tower” & actually LISTEN to the residents of Belgrave. Have a nice day.

Sports are an important part of growing up and healthy lifestyle...taking away facilities fir kids is not the way forward...parks are one the most important places for social integration and personal development!.
